Post by Rorschach » Sun May 08, 2016 6:16 pm

Well here we go... Mal is still waffling and suddenly we have Beaconsfield Bill as ALP Leader.

Scott Morrison's delivery is wanting especially since he seems to be taking everything personally and has developed an overly defensive petulant stance.

Labor's would be Treasurer, Bowen, the overconfident rabid ratbag that he is needs to tone it down a bit and people may listen instead of turning their TVs off. But then again he is soooooo OTT they may not.

So far it looks like an overconfident ALP and a worried Coalition, with good cause too, as they have been underperforming, not correcting Labor lies, telling porkies themselves and shooting themselves in the foot regularly.

I agree with you about Morrison and Shorten.
Morrison takes everything personally and can not accept constructive criticism from friend or foe.
As for Shorten, I cringed when he started going on about Beaconsfield in his first election press conference it was just not appropriate and out of order.

I don't think the ALP are over confident though, if anything I think the Coaltion are.
The government don't deserve to keep power there only saving grace is Labor don't deserve it either.
I really don't know who will be in government on July 3.

Turnbull.....not Shorten.

This election result is going to be BASED on THEM more than anything else.

49% to 27% as preferred PM?

Turnbull.

preferred Pm is never a good measure for election success.

It's not the time for a labor win. Get the economy sorted out then return to the cycle of labor spending the benefits of a conservative government as per normal stupid cycles. I don't think we can afford this cycle anymore. if a party cannot express their policies on the economy, the voters should be smart enough to not elect them. We get the numpties we deserve too often.

Where is Australia's version of Trump.....

Maybe Tricky Dicky needs to run.

This government is not sorting out the economy. The debt has doubled in two and a half years. Both Labor and the Coalition policies are shocking and lacking foresight. Turnbull is so full of crap that he makes Shorten look honest. The government has lost its way and not doing a good job at hiding it. What is the point of chipping away at our desperately needed services while giving corporations a generous tax cut. How is that going to benefit the economy? Only the shareholders will be the winners. We know from experience that corporations do not share their profits with the plebs.
