Movies on TV
As opposed to the Big Screen and TV stuff, there are some rather good movies on Foxtel/TV ...and NO ADS!
I have a relatively Big Screen so, although not "in your face HUGE" (at the movies) .. I can sit here, eat my packet of chips and drink my milkshake and ........
So .......... instead of NEW RELEASES that the Movie thread talks about .... let's talk about what MOVIE you enjoyed on TV/Foxtel and have just seen for the first time ........ or something or other.

First one that prompted me to begin a thread like this, was this!
Has anybody seen it? A true Thriller.

I still don't understand why anyone would pay a monthly fee to have old movies force fed to you when you can download them for free.

I thought the same way until I got Foxtel. It's not just the movies but the rest of it ....... even their ABC gets programs AFTER Foxtel these days.IQS.RLOW wrote:I still don't understand why anyone would pay a monthly fee to have old movies force fed to you when you can download them for free.
Besides, there is a hell of a LOT more on Foxtel than you will ever get on Free-to-Air TV. I do NOT watch any of that FTA crap.
I don't download movies because I don't need to "review" the latest .... I do enjoy the odd Thriller (even older ones that I haven't seen before), I refuse to watch anything "scifi" and movies about "romance" give me the shits. I prefer Thrillers and some Action movies. Definitely NOT anything with "aliens" in it.

I download movies/shows to watch ... not to "review".

I pay $25 a month for a basic Fetch package which only has a few Foxtel channels, but more than enough for my needs. I rarely watch movies, although I try, but usually don't get past the first 20 minutes before I get bored.
