Thankfully, I don't have to choose between Trump and Clinton.

Some of my American pals are leaning towards Trump and wondering whether "I" might be "embarrassed" IF he became Prez. :rofl

IS it all about what the rest of the REAL (entire) WORLD (not just the USofA) thinks?

I mentioned the "invasion" of "migrants" into Europe and got the reply that "it probably affects you more than us in the US" .... Huh? I am in AUSTRALIA .... that is A.U.S.T.R.A.L.I.A. not AUSTRIA. I can't believe how absolutely DUMB some so-called intelligent Americans are.

The USA voters elected George dubbya.... Twice( well at least once given his first victory was somewhat disputable) so it would not surprise in the least if Trump becomes President, scary as that is for the rest of us.
Although I think sanity will prevail in the end and Hilary will sneak in( if electing her is any more sane that electing him).

Trump would be an embarrassing one-term president who would collapse the GOP and all their affiliates. For that reason alone I hope he wins.

We're getting stories here where even members of the Republican Party won't vote for Trump and senior party members are openly ridiculing him in the press and saying they would rather vote for Clinton or even Sanders.
I wonder how well he takes defeat?

it ain't over for Trump yet. if he makes it to the convention with the most delegates and the GOP manages to take the nomination away from him it will mean civil war for the Republicans.

How to the Americans cope with all this political bullshit for so long, or do they just tune out and not watch TV? :zzzz

I doubt it. It's their "system" of selecting the eventual candidates and the length of time that takes.

Do you know how many (percentage) actually turn up to vote for the President? I know it is fairly low. Even with compulsory voting here we still don't get 100% voting.

it would change the political landscape drastically in favor of the Democrats which is why the Republicans spend so much energy on voting suppression measures disguised as something else ...
