Re: A History of Political Animal
I just found in my old work email the draft of the "Constitution" that we tried to set up years ago. I'll post it here soon for posterity, though it never in fact saw the light of day. trying to satisfy everyone brought me to a standstill. And Cynik never forgave me - he didn't bloody help me either.
The better I get to know people, the more I find myself loving dogs.

Some folks are beyond helping, Hebe.
Seriously though, my view at the time was that not enough intellectual firepower was being directed at the practical challenges that were obstructing a push towards greater membership of the forum. I saw things about the community that were worthwhile, but I saw a lot that was plenty ordinary.
In the end, the ordinary won the day, and that was not for the want of me trying for a different result. But that is the thing about communities: being didactic might be correct, but it isn't a community response.

Given your grasp of history, biology, reality, that question is sincere cynik.

In October 2003 here is where PA was:

Someone named Richthofen claimed he had all PA files from 1999 - September 2003. Wonder what happened to those files ...

I think you'll find that it was the SSSF "printouts" that he was claiming to have, not PA.
