meanwhile back on topic...
I hope Greg Hunt keeps his portfolio... even though he is a true believer in warming and climate change at least he's a decent individual that is open and responsive to concerns of the wider public.
He argues fairly and based on fact not the emotive claptrap and hubris that Progressives use.

If Turnbull has any sense - he'll get rid of Hunt quick smart. Hunt is responsible for approving the culling of every shark who goes near the coast of WA and the destruction of any other marine mammal or otherwise which also gets trapped or blasted as collateral damage. Hunt also signed off on the Shenhua Coal Mine before all environmental checks and balances were put in place.Rorschach wrote:meanwhile back on topic...

He looks very happy - the happiest I've ever seen him in photographs. That's no surprise.Neferti~ wrote:What a smug looking person!
There was an interesting point raised in the news this morning - Turnbull will be forgiven for knifing Abbott, but Gillard wasn't forgiven for knifing Rudd. The reason - because he's a male. The public is already blaming Julie Bishop for helping in this coup, yet there wasn't the same venom directed at Shorten when he helped Gillard get rid of Rudd.
Who can take our prime ministers seriously anymore? They're not in the job long enough for them to do any good for this country. Every time there's a change of leader - it costs us billions in waste as policies, offices and staff are shuffled around or replaced.

Just saw a headline regarding the ousting of Tony Abbot and the thread title of this thread gave away by who.
Turnbull will be more popular, but his private agenda is 'Water Privatisation"
Turnbull will try to sell our rivers to foreign banks.

If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

Who was it again that you relentlessly accused me of being? Oh that's right ... IQmantra wrote:Aussie pulled it off very well. A member visited here and abused me shockingly assuming it was me. She claimed she was being harassed by Eleanor. I have also been accused of being you. There's a lot of mistaken identities occurring on these forums. IQ used to be almost everyone.Black Orchid wrote:I like the name Eleanor too but, unfortunately, aussie spoilt it for me when he used the name at D&R sneaking in the back door trying to bypass a ban. It is now suggestive of pot bellies and hairy legs.
I would never burden a son with either the name of Felix or Barnaby.

At the time we were both ruffling each other's feathers. I wasn't sure whether you were IQ or not, but I knew it annoyed you when I said you were. It's ancient history now and hopefully we've all moved on.Black Orchid wrote:Who was it again that you relentlessly accused me of being? Oh that's right ... IQ

Turncoat is on shifting sands, right now. He needs to appease the right side of the Coalition (by keeping Abbott's policies) and he has started spending OUR money ($2 billion) to calm down the Nats.Outlaw Yogi wrote:Just saw a headline regarding the ousting of Tony Abbot and the thread title of this thread gave away by who.

I await his "Cabinet" announcements. wink wink, nudge nudge. He's an arrogant prick. Smooth as ........
IF somebody breaks away from the COALITION and starts their own Conservative Party before the next Federal Election ... I am sure they will gain more power than the Greens.
