Domestic Violence

Post by Neferti » Fri Sep 11, 2015 4:22 pm

I know that it happens fairly regularly in Australia and is often the cause of Murder of a partner. This latest Gold Coast "shooting" has me wondering. How did this guy get a gun? I presume that she thought that she was "safe" meeting him for breakfast at McDonalds? At least he tried to top himself and despite medicos, succeeded!

Queenslanders and South Australians must have something in the water.

Why are they all mentally deficient fuckbags?

Some times I wish there really was a heaven and a hell.

If you are prepared to kill yourself and take out others there is no negative consequence for your actions to be offered. (well not in this life)

Maybe the Mafia have it right. If you do wrong by the family, we kill you and your entire blood line so it would be as if you never existed on the planet going forward. .... maybe not.
Always remember what you post, send or do on the internet is not private and you are responsible.

Good subject. Similar happened the other day when that poor girl was run off the road and beaten to death by her deranged ex boyfriend. When she tried to get help from the police a few days earlier - they weren't interested.

At least one woman in Australia is murdered every week - sometimes two. We lose more women to domestic violence in 6 months than we do to terrorist attacks on Australian citizens in a decade. Billions of dollars are thrown at the war on terror - yet nothing is given to protect women from these vicious psychopaths. Women need more protection here otherwise we'll end up as bad as some of the third world Arab countries where the life of a female means nothing.

Honestly the way they're are portraying it and blitzing the media you'd think it was endemic and every guy was involved and needed to change.

It's been going on for a very long time, so it's good that the media is finally bringing it out in the open and making these murders front page news. Usually there's a tiny little paragraph in some obscure spot which is easily overlooked. Yes - some blokes need to change, although those that murder their partners are too far gone to learn control.

Really... do you honestly think all males are involved, or even most males...
I don't doubt it's been going on for a long time... :du

I don't recall saying all males, or even most males are involved - I said SOME males need to change and learn a little self control and anger management.
I don't doubt it's been going on for a long time... :du
So domestic violence resulting in the death of a female is an aberration? Maybe we can blame GM foods or the hormones in our meat?

It has been a violent week in Qld domestic violence wise. Some asshole attacked his ex wife with a machete yesterday too. I think we just live in a more violent society full stop nowadays. I'm not downplaying the shooting but that ex bikie who ran his ex off the road and then proceeded to smash her head in with a lump of steel or brick or whatever it was is just a first class asshole. He's the sort of bloke I object to feeding while he does his ten years gaol.
