Seems like the better govt is Abbott by a county mile.
Token at best.
The polls tell the story, not one win since six weeks after the last election and every week another bad story. Even you can not honestly say you think this has been a good government, can you?
I'm not even saying a Labor government would be any better, I don't think they would be especially under Shorten. What I am saying is Abbott is a terrible PM leading a terrible government that will be dumped for another terrible government come next election.

Please, do TRY to have some respect for our ELECTED leaders. We voted for them, remember! Whine about it forever, but that won't change anything.

Abbott is respected about as much as Gillard and Rudd were.

Abbott might be disliked as much as Gillard and Rudd, but he hasn't been abused the way Gillard was. The media trashed her. Abbott's had it easy compared to her. No-one has thrown anything at him - yet.

Does anyone think he will be PM come next election?
It surprises me he still is but I'm certain the coaltion don't want to look like Labor by dumping him. But honestly, Coaltion supporters, do you really think he can win the next election? I hope he stays there, the people that voted for the coaltion deserve to see what they got every day until we have a chance to take out cricket bats to the election booth. It does seem kind of hollow though, as I really believe Shorten will be just as bad.
How did we get into a situation where we have such a pathetic pool of choices to lead the major parties in this country? I honestly believe Turnbull is the only politician in parliament from any party that would be capable of making a decent effort as PM, and that's really sad. I wouldn't feed any of the Labor party front bench nor the Government, I also think the Greens are short on leadership. I'd be embarrassed, as I am already with Abbott, for the likes of Albonese to represent this country on the world stage. Ten years ago there were probably half a dozen people from all sides of politics worthy and capable of being PM, now there are none.

The Greens are at a steady 16 percent. I don't mind the new leader. There's nothing bad that you can say about him. He also seems less naive than Brown and Milne. Hopefully he'll be a good ankle biter.
I don't think Abbott will be thrown out, although the Coalition seem out of their depth and without someone to make some hard decisions, they all seem a bit confused. There is so much negative commentary about them because they're not confident so they can't inspire confidence in us.
