These lefties, and especially the manginas, will do anything as long as it wins them praise from the feminist nazi brigade. I would expect that he is wearing the uniform harlequin pants that these mad lefties tend to associate and identify themselves with.
I would also be suspicious of any person claiming to be a therapist, when perhaps a more appropriate description would be two words.

I'm suspicious of just about everyone, and can't condemn those suspicious of me, but then I don't care anyway.
I just looked in on this thread to find out what rules I could bend or have contempt for.
But it seems there's nothing to worry about ... damn!

If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

Not caring what anyone thinks is the key, Yogi. I don't give a rat's arse either. Some people have a real problem communicating with people on a Forum. Neferti is NOT my real name. My OPINION is just that, towards something somebody else stated.

Not caring about what others think about you or your views is antisocial.
I mean if you didnt care what others thought of your views online, then why post them at all, right?
Why not just write them down in a scrapbook and keep them under your pillow?
It should matter to you what people who know and care about you think of you in real life, and to a degree, acquaintances online also.
With the exception of some of course, (ie, trolls and loons) ...their views are irrelevant given their objective is to be disruptive and antisocial anyway.
I think we should care about what others think about us to a degree though Nef, and also use it as a guide to regulate ourselves at times also.
You know what Nef, you have raised an interesting subject.
Some might consider it therapeutic even.
Ie, the likes of those few members here on PA who struggle to get on with others.
I cant remember where I saw it but they did some sort of internet -vrs- real-life study (think it was in Sweden/Norway) and the findings were rather predictable.
Anti-social people online were often anti-social offline also.
And those who got on with a majority and were social online, were often social and had better relations offline also.

A few here may remember in one of PA's former incarnations, my reply to another's comment that "I don't care what other people think of me, because the only opinion that matters is mine".Neferti~ wrote:Not caring what anyone thinks is the key, Yogi. And that still stands today.
So what? ... Why should I care? .. or What does it matter?mellie wrote: Not caring about what others think about you or your views is antisocial.
#1 For personal entertainment - I don't come here to make friends, I come here to have fun, and maybe learn a thing or few.mellie wrote: I mean if you didnt care what others thought of your views online, then why post them at all, right?

#2 In the vein belief that another might learn something from me without having to learn the hard way themselves. Took me a while to learn it, and one of my brothers never will.

I disagree, Mel.mellie wrote:

Because I am human and want to say my bit on a Forum. I don't care whether people agree or disagree with me. I have something to say, so I say it. I don't need anyone to say "Well done", "You are right" or "what rubbish" ...your opinion of my opinion doesn't really matter.I mean if you didnt care what others thought of your views online, then why post them at all, right?
Why not just write them down in a scrapbook and keep them under your pillow?
This is a Forum, I don't "know" anybody here ... you are all IDs. I am most unlikely to ever meet any of you, not that it matters. As a GROUP on the Internet we appear to get along (mostly). My "real" friends and acquaintances in the Real World say (affectionately, I gather) that I am the type of person who "Tells it as it is" and they appreciate me being blunt and to the point. I am never cruel and will tell little white lies when necessary but if people want my opinion, I will give it.It should matter to you what people who know and care about you think of you in real life, and to a degree, acquaintances online also.
With the exception of some of course, (ie, trolls and loons) ...their views are irrelevant given their objective is to be disruptive and antisocial anyway.
I have finally decided that I can NOT change the World and no amount of talking about doing so is going to change that fact.I think we should care about what others think about us to a degree though Nef, and also use it as a guide to regulate ourselves at times also.
I think it is because we don't have to look into each others faces when we speak is one reason why we say what we say without thinking about how the other person is affected. I am very perceptive though and can sense antagonistic vibes, hypocrisy and LIARS and I loathe those traits in people. I have friends who are leftards, so rather than get into arguments about politics, we leave that subject alone and we get on marvelously otherwise. I don't discuss Religion with friends either. You know what Nef, you have raised an interesting subject.
Some might consider it therapeutic even.

Mel, I have had the Internet at home since August 1995. That is almost 20 YEARS! I joined some Chat Rooms back then and they were VERY civilized. I still correspond with a couple of people I met in those Chat Rooms. Mostly the people you met were older, more mature folk. Then the idiots got into the act and the Chat Rooms became a bunch of fools "running " into the room, shouting DOES ANYONE WANT TO DO CYBER?I cant remember where I saw it but they did some sort of internet -vrs- real-life study (think it was in Sweden/Norway) and the findings were rather predictable.

Chat Rooms back then (I had Microsoft ... MSN) were when you logged on and everyone typed and you replied ... you needed to be a good typist to keep up, but initially there may be 6-10 people in a "Room". Fun stuff and we talked about where we lived, the weather and all that stuff. I have been corresponding with people from all over the World since early 1996.
