There was an article in one of today's online newspapers about people having their tatts removed (via laser?) because prospective employers take one look and see a tattoo and that's the end of that. Particularly tattoos that cannot be hidden by clothing. THINK before getting yourself "inked". At least they can now (apparently) be removed. I had visions of elderly folk with weird looking tattoos all wrinkly (or stretched if they got fat).

Youth is definitely wasted on the young.

Yes - far better to put all unskilled labour on the dole and write them off. An efficient and polite cashier is worth something especially to the customer who provides the multinationals with their massive profits. I'm sick of going into shops or phoning an organisation where there's little or no customer service and only machines to interact with. These companies make huge profits. The government should ensure that these massive supermarket chains have a decent ratio of staff to machines.
