Looks like a mealworm. Not too concerning, if so. People do actually eat them. They feed on grains.

Ha, an Aussie hypocrisy thread. In relationships. Where he can ban and delete.

Despite his spouting of the ruwelzzz he banned me in without following the guidelines of the rules he spouts, I said so at the time. He banned me before the PM warning. Google the thread, I contemporaneously complained about it on forum. I also PMed Freediver at the time, his attitude was he didn't give a shit and Aussie could do what he likes in his sub forum. And for those who reckon I might be a serial whinger I reckon I might have probably 7 or so PMs to FD and only probably four of them in reference to Aussie. The others were about missing posts and wondering why I had been deleted. PMs can be posted, FD you have my permission, I have no fear.

Dont believe Aussie when he says he abides by the ruwelzz. If it suits him he will not only ignore the ruwelzz but the intent of the ruwelzz and to add insult will wrap himself in the ruwelzz as a shield.

Blokes a snake.

That would kill my appetite no matter how hungry I was. Don't do insects. Have noticed protein bars made from crickets in the marketplace recently. I'd give those a try but they are quite expensive to be made out of bugs.

More and more banks are being replaced with tellerless branches. It's either a machine or nothing. Gladys is getting rid of ticket sellers, ripping out the cash machines at train stations and replacing them with card machines where you have to wait in endless queues while people fiddle with their cards and PIN numbers. Lucky I rarely catch a train.

Call me old fashioned but I don't like this faceless society we are being forced to become.

What do you think of stores with self check-out. I love them and hate them.

They serve a purpose if you only have a few items and there is only one checkout open (which is becoming the norm) but I resent the way they keep trying to herd everyone to the 'do it yourself'' machines as a matter of course.

It's not uncommon to have to wait longer because either the machine stuffs up or the customer doesn't know how to use it.

The self service machines are an excuse to employ less staff and on principle we should boycott them even though they can be convenient at times.

Mantra, what about the job-losses to those who provide, stock, service and or repair these vending machines?

I would rather support the checkout operators and avoid the machines like the plague. Face to face is becoming a thing of the past and it's not necessarily a good thing.
