So what are their policies, you know the ones they will never be in government to initiate and implement.

Prior to the last election Gladys Berejiklian spread herself around. She spent a lot of time campaigning at a local train station, promising the people that if she was elected that she would make sure a lift was provided. This station hosts over 10,000 commuters per day, has no lift access and a large flight of steps needed to reach the platform. Adjoining stations both have a lift but there is no bus access to get there. She campaigned relentlessly and I had a great deal of admiration for her energy and resolve to make this happen.

What happened after the election? Nothing. Lifts were provided to stations in the west that hosted a measly 500 commuters per day though. Petitions were raised and meetings were held and Gladys was brought to task over her pre election promise and what did she say? "I don't want to be seen favouring my constituents". Yes, the constituents who put her where she is.

Anyway, with another election looming Gladys has suddenly decided that she will make good on her promise and plans have been drawn up to provide this station with well deserved lift access.

What do I think of Gladys? Not much.

Howard seems to be helping Baird with his election campaign and has told NSW voters not to make a protest vote for LUKE FOLEY even if Abbott is on the nose. Howard's orders will not enhance Baird's campaign. He will only win because half the electorate probably doesn't have a clue about who he is or what he stands for, but thanks to his relentless advertising campaign - people will remember his name when they're scratching their heads over the enormous ballot paper on Saturday. Baird has not only been bombarding commercial TV with expensive adds every commercial break, but his recorded propaganda telephone message is infiltrating every NSW household - sometimes twice a day. This must be costing a fortune as well as being an intrusive nuisance.

Martin Ferguson - as I suspected years ago has to be a Liberal plant. Labor should have evicted him a decade ago. He does no favours for them with his support of extreme capitalism.
