Re: Indonesia and their Drug Laws
They are being shipped today from Bali to another island to be shot.
At least they will have some sight seeing before they go. A nice part of the world unless you break the law and get caught.

I feel for them. They must be terrified. Even the little bit you read in the news takes you to a dark place. I doubt they would notice what a nice sunny place the death island is.At least they will have some sight seeing before they go. A nice part of the world unless you break the law and get caught.
Australian drug smugglers Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran have been placed in isolation cells in Central Java while they wait for news about the timing of their executions.
Chan and Sukumaran finished their journey to the port of Cilacap shortly before 9:00am (local time), after being taken out of Bali's Kerobokan prison in a police armoured vehicle before dawn on Wednesday morning.

We'll put you in a prison cell with nothing to do all day, and tell you you're going to be shot. See whether you feel anything.Neferti~ wrote:They won't feel a thing.

Then you are not a Christian, never been a victim of injustice and have never made a mistake of judgement in your life?gizmo_2655 wrote:Rorschach wrote:The Death penalty is absurd.AiA in Atlanta wrote:the death penalty for non-violent crimes is absurd.

Atheist, haven't really been a victim of injustice, but I have made more than my share of mistakes. But I do take responsibility for those mistakes.Rorschach wrote:Then you are not a Christian, never been a victim of injustice and have never made a mistake of judgement in your life?gizmo_2655 wrote:Rorschach wrote:The Death penalty is absurd.AiA in Atlanta wrote:the death penalty for non-violent crimes is absurd.

If I do the wrong thing, or break the law, then that IS my fault, so I'd happily take the punishment.
