It was a simple gaffe Nef, a slip of the tongue, (the left media made a huge deal of it though).

I think we can all be forgiven for this from time to time, and whilst he's a defence minister, doesnt mean he's inhuman and incapable of making humanly mistakes.

Well, it did make him sound dreadfully dopey. He actually looks a bit dopey in my opinion. Turnbull would be much better Defence MP.

No Nef, whats dopey is people jumping on the social media bandwagon and beating up a simple slip-of-the-tongue.

Theres no way in hell Tony will sack a loyal Kevin Andrews and hand Turnbull the turncoat his portfolio over a simple slip of the tongue.

Even news lmd, otherwise known as the Liberal party gazette, say Abbott is DEAD MAN WALKING. With a poll out today saying the coalition will be slaughtered it's a very brave ( or dumb) person to think Abbott will be PM come next election. I hope they're all wrong, Abbott is the best thing moderates have going for them.

Well if Tony thought he was under the pump this week... it's only just begun.
Every 2 weeks there will be a poll...
Shortly NSW will have a state election...

If there is no upchange in polls and results he will get the blame.

If he doesn't keep to his word and change how he's been doing things he will cop the blame.

If Credlin continues on as she has he will cop the blame.

If he doesn't start listening to people he will cop the blame.

Poor policy decisions, Captain's Calls, any stuff up he will cop it. After all THE BUCK STOPS WITH HIM!

They have 6 months to get back in the good graces of the public... if they don't it will be on again and this time in earnest.

The good thing or bad if your a Tonyphile is that now they know how unpopular and divisive the choice of Malcolm would be. They'll be looking to a new replacement.

I can't think of who would replace him and be accepted by the conservative voters though. We do NOT want Turnbull. Bishop is also a No. Not sure about Morrison. Didn't Hockey want to be Liberal Leader? Can't see him "leading" either.
