Looks like the Liberal party room wouldn't validate the ALP tradition of backstabbing and unlike the feral ALP constituents, neither would the Liberal voter base.
Time to gut the ABC, they have been desperately hoping the Libs would validate the ALPBC methods.

There is no need to become defensive, mantra. You are wrong! According to a Newspoll survey on Coalition voters they preferred Abbott to Turnbull 54/40.mantra wrote:It seems all those who dislike Turnbull can read his mind. His actions have shown otherwise though.Neferti~ wrote:Yes, well I hope that Abbott does another shuffle of the Cabinet and gets rid of those dissenters. He should also do something about Peta but the problem there is that her hubby, Brian, is the Federal Director of the Liberal Party, so they are a "pair". Might have to get rid of both of them.![]()
Turnbull has to go. He could start his own Progressive Party, he has plenty of money. He is arrogant and thinks it is his due to be Prime Minister.
Yes all 29% of them. The conservatives can't stand him. Much as Abbott isn't very popular, he is way ahead of Turnbull to the conservative voters. Apparently, the Liberal Ministers had an avalanche of phone calls, emails and so forth threatening to vote INFORMAL if Abbott was sacked and Turnbull replaced him. So there!
http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/n ... 7212437519An exclusive Newspoll survey published today in The Australian reveals that Coalition voters have reacted angrily to the leadership spill with the majority still preferring Mr Abbott as leader.
While the poll showed the Government at a crisis levels with a two party preferred vote of 57/43 in favour of Labor, the Coalition party faithful still ranked Mr Abbott as preferred leader over Malcolm Turnbull by a margin of 54/40.
Mr Turnbull emerged as the least popular among Coalition voters with Julie Bishop ranked second behind Mr Abbott.

Nef, starting a small break-away party wouldnt be enough for Malcolm the narcissist.
He needed to take the leadership in order to force a republic referendum.
Being PM just isn't enough for Malcolm Turnbull or Bill Shorten, both have god complexes and aspire to be Australia's first president.
Naturally, the wealthier man would win the presidency.
And with wealthy Malcolm Turnbulls powerful media mates backing him, he'd beat Shorten hands down to the presidency anyway.
Malcolm needs to be dealt with well before the next federal election.

Of course they're the only people whose vote is significant?

Turnbull should be taken out of the Communications Portfolio and given something else, perhaps Defence*. Stick somebody there who WILL get rid of the ABC.IQS.RLOW wrote:Looks like the Liberal party room wouldn't validate the ALP tradition of backstabbing and unlike the feral ALP constituents, neither would the Liberal voter base.

*The current Defence bloke is useless ... he made a huge gaffe the other day by saying
Absolutely pathetic."I believe the team of Tony Abbott and Julia Gillard is the best leadership team for the Liberal Party and therefore part of the best leadership team of the Coalition for the country."

It was a simple gaffe Nef, a slip of the tongue, (the left media made a huge deal of it though).
I think we can all be forgiven for this from time to time, and whilst he's a defence minister, doesnt mean he's inhuman and incapable of making humanly mistakes.

Don't be stupid for stupid's sake, mantra. I said that the Conservatives preferred Abbott to Turnbull and you questioned it. The special Newspoll of conservative voters proves that.mantra wrote:Neferti~ wrote:There is no need to become defensive, mantra. You are wrong! Now go over to OzPol and talk about politics over there with all the other leftards, or are you too afraid to do that as you might out yourself as a Greenie?

Well, it did make him sound dreadfully dopey. He actually looks a bit dopey in my opinion. Turnbull would be much better Defence MP.mellie wrote:It was a simple gaffe Nef, a slip of the tongue, (the left media made a huge deal of it though).

Since Foxtel won the new BBC/British programs contract over the ABC, the ABC will no longer show them before Foxtel, so nothing new worth watching on Our ABC.
The News and Current Affairs programs are all biased. I do NOT watch ABC and haven't since about 2007 when Krudd had his head on there all day and night!
