Time for something other than LibLab to lead the nation?

I agree with Barnaby, and will back the nationals split from Liberal if theres a spill on Tuesday.

I think Barnaby would make a decent PM in the event Liberals cant get it together.

Splitting the coalition? Hearsay!

Then those white knights in the Liberal party would need to rely on that evil preferential system, like a real political party...

Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce has said he'll put his house on Prime Minister Tony Abbott leading the Coalition to the next election.

I'm inclined to agree.

If Turnbull gets in, my vote is definitely going to the LDP.

They will be the only alternative "small govt" party.
We need less government, not more and the Libs seem to have lost this absolute core belief.

The country is starting to be overrun with bleating hound out lefty leaning cocksuckers who expect the govt to solve all their problems. We need our own Brevik to reduce the lefty population of leeches.

IQS, I had a good look at the LDP's policies last night and think they might be a little too "Liberal" for me....especially re- the legalisation of dope and so forth, but I am seriously thinking about either the Nationals or Paulines ON.

I like Barnaby and Pauline's values.

I think we're jumping the gun here and also think a few disgruntled WA MP's motion to spill Abbott will be denied.

The Nationals are too comfortable where they are. They wouldn't risk a split from the Liberals because they would have to work too hard to build the party up again. I actually feel a bit sorry for Abbott, but he should know that what goes around comes around. He might feel a little more empathy for Rudd and Gillard now. The media has been nicer to him than they were to Gillard.

I'm confident Nationals will shun Liberals and refuse to support Liberal in the unlikely event of a spill, and especially so if Turnbull takes the leadership.

Again,more lefty wishful thinking there.

Another thoughtless post from you. What is it you don't believe?

1. That the Nationals are too comfortable and won't opt for a change if there's a spill?

or....

2. The media has been nicer to Abbott than Gillard. Of course this is subjective, but there would be quite a few people who believe Gillard was treated like a dog, not only by the media, but the Coalition and their supporters also.
