I once knew a Hindu in Japan whose wife told me he ate beef in private at home. Would imagine Muslims are largely dietary hypocrites as well.

Yes. You are free to worship as you want.AiA in Atlanta wrote:Would a dashboard Jesus be permissible in your car SN?
I have seen Jesus fish on cars. Xmas trees outside houses. hell there were many giant xmas trees in all the malls. We had one at work. No issue.
We put an xmas tree out the front... I took it in after 1 day and thought "why advertise a Christian lives here" and moved it to the back. Why take the chance.

You don't have to be Christian to put up a Christmas tree, or have Santa for the little ones.
Even the Muslim little kids in Australia have Santa, so I have heard.
I have known Jewish people to have a Christmas tree and Santa, plus Sikhs, Shinto and various others who have Christmas trees and Santa for their children.
It is not considered a "religious" festival, it has been commercialised for eons and woe betide any parents who deprive their little kids from dear old Santa!

I don't actually "know" any but I "have heard" as I said. Whether it is true or not, I haven't a clue.

Probably. I like to give everyone the fair chance. I know who I am and nobody, no matter what they say, can change that.Black Orchid wrote:I am thinking that whoever you heard it from doesn't know any either

As it should be but I was talking about Muslims and Christmas. I know a few and none of them have Santa. In fact, in Sydney, many are trying to ban Santa.Neferti~ wrote:Probably.
