Fancy Halal medicine?

How do you all feel about this?

I say, boycott it.

The same way I say boycott any foodstuff/product that panders to any given faith group here in Australia that objects to our western way of life.

We are all Australians, yes?

If you move to the west, then you should do so with the express desire to accept our western way of life.

I find this a tad insulting.

Tell me why I shouldn't be insulted by this.

Our western medicine not good enough?

I insist all my medicines be a by-product of pigs blood so I have a real problem in this region getting my meds. :D

Funny SN.. but on a serious note...

Should we have Halal, or kosher foods being ordered in by external caterers (at an increased cost to the tax payer) to our public hospitals for "PUBLIC" Halal and Kosher patients?

They want equality...let's give it to them. 8-)

Let them eat bangers and mash like the rest of us.

8-)

Manufacturers have to pay a royalty of some sort to some Islamic council for using the halal brand. It's annoying on principle to have something like this shoved at us. I have never heard of Halal medicines, but I know the Halal logo is now attached to quite a few of our everyday foods eg. Vegemite.

So... next time you go to hospital, be sure to request non halal/kosher diet/menu (hospital food) and non-halal halal/kosher pharmaceuticals.

OK.

Because this is what it's come to.

I'll drink (Bourbon & Coke) to that.

The Australian ran an article regarding a/the 'Boycott Halal' org/group, citing it as "anti Halal"

That suits me just fine, 'coz I'm anti Halal, anti Kosher, and most of all anti Vegetarian.
If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?
