The Australian media is certainly giving the hostage what he really wanted all along: attention.

Just another muslim terrorist, it is now so common and so frequent that it is becoming normalised and acceptable. So much that excuses are being pushed forward.

The muslim casualties in 30 days is 5,042 deaths, guess they're having a quiet period in the lead up to Christmas

Wonder what the monthly (deaths) casaulties are for other religions would be, 1? maybe 2?

Monis.
Seige hostage taker identified as Man Monis
Man Haron Monis was convicted in 2013 over offensive letters he wrote to families of dead Australian soldiers and was charged with sexual offences in October relating to his time as a self-proclaimed "spiritual leader".

He's just another disaffected lunatic wanna-be Muslim convert.... lol, he was practicing black-magic out of his shed less than a decade ago and offering spiritual advice to crack-whores.

Theres more, but you'll read all about it tomorrow.

Big tough Isis terrorist?

Lone wolf?

hahaha...

Hardly.

Just some pissed off lune who was defeated in the supreme court recently and received 300 hours of community service and a 2 year bond for his trouble

Should have been institutionalised years ago.

He's not a convert to Islam mel... he's born in Iran and always been Muslim.

He dabbled in black magic, astrology, and numerous other wierd idiologies, ....so... this renders him simply a nutter, not a Muslim nutter per say.

Martin Bryant was born, raised and baptised a Christian, so does this mean he was a Christian Terrorist?

Hmm?

:stop

Put simply,"Bum Fingers" Not all Muslims endorse or agree with or support the radicalisation of their faith and condone terrorism.

Just as not all Christians or Jews condone nor support the radicalisation of theirs.

We should be fighting extremism and radicalism across all religions, not be singling out those which are more PC than others to refer to.

The trouble is, our media only focus on a certain groups radicalisation for political reasons.

Then don't post crap or change your thinking.

re your point 1...
1095 Council of Clermont. The First Crusade is initiated when Byzantine Emperor Alexius Comnenus requests help in reconquering from the Seljuk Turks the lost territory of Asia Minor. Pope Urban II at the Council of Clermont calls upon the princes of Christendom for an armed “pilgrimage” to recover Jerusalem from the Muslims.
I do hope you understand the history re the words recover and reconquering.
The First Crusade was about taking back lands etc taken initially by the Muslims.

Roach, which religious group enjoys the most leniency (and media protection) would you say?

Muslims, Jews or Christians?

Well Roach,

You stand corrected.

I said we picked the flight first, that is we went and made it a religious war to recover the holy land for Christendom. We committed major atrocities. Countries were fighting each other over territory and wealth at that time. We picked the fight based on serving our god.

Next.

Well, Tony Abbott concedes that ASIO should have had Lindt siege mad-man on watch list and that the incident was a multi-systemic failure.

Funny, I said this early on in this thread straight after the incident.

Well put Tony.

Now something needs to be done to do our best to prevent anything like this ever happening again.
