Democratic Party will win the next election... just.
US will continue to lead the Climate Change agenda if the Democrats get back in otherwise they will drop it like a bag of sh..t.
US economy will continue to recover
Europe
UK will be closer to leaving the EU with UKip gaining many seats in parliament forming a collation government. If Labor get in... the UK will start to go the way of France.
Germany will continue into economic decline recovery at the end of the year.
Australia
Will have a housing correction and there will be many falling into negative equity.
Russia
Will start to destabilise and Putin will start to show his iron fist.
Further retaliations on the west in the form of military activity by Russia will not be dealt with appropriately by a scared EU, Nato and a USA that just doesn't want to take them on.
Riussia will turn off the gas supplies to EU countries in retaliation and increase charges to a extortionate level.
Oil prices will remain low further hurting them.
China
Will just go form strength to strength buying up the world. Stupid world.
Tensions with India will return.
Ebola
Will not be fully contained with cases in most western countries.
New processes in most airport further slowing us down as people are screen for high temperatures.
Ebola will make it's way to India.
ISIS
The west will not get it shit together an ISIS will form it's own country with no-one being prepared to go in on the ground and sort them out.
They will become even more organised and the use of chemical weapons will increase creating greater inaction from the west.
They will not be recognised by the UN but they will start to negotiate with them with tragic consequences for the locals.
Their internet campaign and radicalisation of the mentally ill in the west will lead to more lone wolves striking in the US and other western countries.

But over the course of the decade and beyond...
The USA Economy won't recover, but yes - the Democrats and Obama will have a 2nd Term (ALP has close ties with the Democrats, as the NLP has with the Republicans).
More pressure from the EU upon Russia to choose if they are still 'pro-asian' or 'pro-europe'. If Russia changes to Pro-Euro, after they have changed from Communist to Capitalist - it will be the last straw with the Chinese Bear. This is the issue with Russia - FEAR: between a rock and a hard place. Of course, be it via (ras)Putin or another, Russia will switch and become Pro-Euro under pressure and China will start to INVADE a rusted-out Russia. Specifically China will claim Siberia for 'Yellow' Asia - and the way to the north will be open. Russia will call to the USA for help and North Korea will bring the USA into the fray. But China will prevail, but lose Hong Kong and territories in the south due to southern invaders capitalising and Tibet will become 'Free' finally. Mongolia will play a deceitful neutrality at the start of the Great War. Nippon (Japan) eventually gets invaded, but regains its control.
While this is going on. The remains (like ISIS currently) of the once might Islamic Empires of history throw their final efforts of Mohommedism as an Empire against Europe. France is forced to 'declare' its defiance and the Moslems do to the French what the Germans did to the Jews. USA is too busy with China to aid much with this. Islam has finally found its 'sacrifice'!
Minor wars emerge around the world - but the War between India and Pakistan/Bangladesh is the worst example of 'Nuclear Holocaust' in terms of devi ...devastation. India & China also come to blows up in the Korakoram Mts.
Some nations have a 'Polaris' system of defence against Nukes. They can nullify the Nuke Missile 'void' (unexplosive) when it comes within range. Originally an Australian invention, from Adelaide decades ago - but perfected by Israel and now used by a number of nations. India & Pakistan/Bangladesh do not have the system. Polaris is the general original term, but it is called by other names now, depending 'type' of system.
Sadly, many 'Nukes' are smuggled into city-targets and detonated by 'suicide bombers'. Paris is one such place.
PNG and other Melanesian nations invade Indonesia and push Indonesia right up to the borders of neutral Malaysia.
Indonesia becomes a 1/3rd of its original size. A lot of Australian 'mercenaries' fight against Indonesia in the Australasian (south asia) region. Irian Jaya and other nations are liberated.
Israel extends its borders upon the now spent former Islamic Empire. The Israel Empire emerges.
USA Economy never fully recovers, even after the great War with China.
Australia sends its complimentary 'troops' to various parts of the world, but stays neutral to the Papua/Indo War.
Eire joins the UK and Northern Ireland becomes an extension of Wales - as West Wales.
Eventually Europe puts pressure on the UK to become more 'Pro-Europe', rather than Pro-USA. Almost a declaration of Independence from the USA is forced on the UK. Becoming Pro-Europe doesn't mean via Military and Political means as a priority with Medical and Music doing more for the success of the region than the other two.
