That got my interest and I clicked on a link and read the paper. It did not say oil was being formed on the ocean floor. Ocean floor moves as the mid ocean ridges erupt magma (Iceland is a high point on the ocean floor, so high it is above sea level, hence the volcanoes, hot springs etc) and the tectonic plates slide under the bordering continental plates.

Outright lie, probably so the idiots on her site, like roach, think Peak Oil is further away than we think and so can keep burning fossil fuels with abandon.

That is why I say it is a PR site.

Do you have any links to this where she said that ?

No, didn’t keep a link but it is on her site. Doubt you could read the geological links she posted pretending they were in support of her crap about oil on the ocean floor.

It was the usual PR piece where she said oil is formed on the ocean floor then gave some links. I knew her statement was bullshit—I do have a BSc in geology with a minor in Zoology—and followed one of her links and the paper she linked did NOT say what she said it did.
