Says the unmarried old guy with failed businesses living on the pension and his closest female companion is his whore mother who is trying to match your beer intake with cocks.

You know you really shouldn't keep mentioning me because of your own inadequacies... I don't need it and it makes you look like an obsessive sore loser who resorts to ad hom in an effort to build himself up by continually putting others down.GeorgeH wrote:How could I dumb down this place? you and roach are here

Man, you are such a dodo, such a rusted on of course I take potshots. You are unable to see the contradictions in the Abbott govt. Coal is almost worthless and exports are and will continue to drop. Iron ore prices are falling off a cliff. Just what do you think that is going to do to the Budget? Hello? And the revenue problems that bedevilled Swan’s Budgets haven’t gone away. MYEFO is going to be a doozy, no matter how Hokey dresses it up and tries to blame Labor.
As the population ages we need more skilled migration—yet we are inciting hatred of foreigners, not just of muslim religion. The security laws just passed are over the top!
The NBN would have helped keep health costs down and boosted the productivity of the relatively smaller workforce, but the Libs all but killed it, did throttle the rollout just as it was ramping up.
You and Abbott can deny the science of climate change, of AGW, but it is still going on. Are we going to have huge bush fires in October like we did last year?

The on, off, on again FOFA changes are soon to be off again:

The Financial Services Council – the country's biggest financial industry lobby group – this week surprised the government by calling for the establishment of a statutory, independent governing body for financial planners, saying the level of public distrust in the financial planning industry had become dire.
Council chief executive John Brogden said financial planners' level of education also had to improve "significantly".
"Self-regulation is no longer a credible option for establishing higher standards," Mr Brogden said.
His unusual call followed months of criticism about the lack of education needed to become a financial adviser in Australia, and after repeated revelations about the woeful behaviour of employees within Commonwealth Bank's financial planning arm that saw hundreds of its customers lose millions of dollars in total thanks to poor financial advice.
It also reversed the council's previous opposition to official oversight of the advice sector and proved a potential embarrassment for the federal government because it explicitly acknowledged the government's controversial financial advice laws may not be robust enough.

Re: Cognitive Dissonance and the Abbott Govt
Rather a good post, George. Sums it up pretty well. I won't go into the details, but I'll just sit back and popcorn and beer my way through the obvious and usual suspects carrying on like children.
Our illustrious writer of books responds with 'rubbish' to an entire chapter. Brilliant essay precisely in reply to these issues with a penetrating analysis of the issues raised and arguments fully sustained by supported and supportable fact..... step up for your Ph.D.
(are they doing a course in Dumbing Down these days? I thought it was an unwritten agenda thing and intended to sneak up on everybody like a bad night out in Soho)....

Re: Cognitive Dissonance and the Abbott Govt
They are doing dumbing down courses and pretty much every journo is a graduate of that course. The Abbott Cabinet passed the course with flying colors! Abbott went through the course twice!
I reckon Abbott, the bovver boy, is now hopped up on adrenaline and testosterone because of the war in the ME (it won’t stay just a war against ISIS) and I bet will let domestic agenda items slide, yet another source of distraction, of cognitive dissonance.
We live in interesting times.
