You idiot, they don't control a large area they travel on roads and have small pockets of direct influence. They have religious supporters but basically there is no Islamic State of ISIS and no Caliphate. they are marauders... look it up if you need to.

There are several maps around if you need to be educated on it. ISIS could be cut down the middle and both ends eradicated just by controlling the main roads. It has spread itself so thin it will not be able to control areas or sustain itself without much larger help from outside.
