Q&A had a couple of Muslim apologists on board last night and didn't the pro muslim audience lap it up... we are vctims, we are oppressed... it's all the fault of the West and those nasty Israelis.

Re: SISI
Syria hugely complicates things—I mean there is a civil war happening there! And the anti–government forces are a motley bunch including fanatic like ISIS. Then we have Turkey anxious that Kurds not be armed because Turkey contains a large part of “Kurdistan” and the Turks oppose this. The “murdering Muslims” seem to take however many refugees flee to them—part of the Muslim religion not often mentioned in the west.
So a solution could be to concentrate on ISIS in Iraq where we have been asked to help. The Kurds will fight, we know that. They need time to train more fighters from the many refugees that fled to them recently.
ISIS is gettin weapons from where? Apparently Israel, in the captured Golan Heights area, are looking after injured ISIS fighters and this report mentioned the Israelis were supplying them with weapons but no real evidence given. What is in it for Israel? Fairly obviously an agreement to not pursue the matter of the return of the Golan Heights to Syria in the event Syria falls to ISIS? Or weapons come through Jordan or via Lebanon. Definitely not from Turkey I suppose? Unless ISIS promised to push back the Kurds which they seem to be doing.
Preventing supplies to ISIS would seem to be a way of neutralising them as a military–political force.
The Iraq army is a joke—lots more training and leadership is required.
Then—just how many fighters are there in ISIS anyway? They seem to win through terror and suicide bombing rather than mass military action (unlike the Taliban in ’Stan.) So what best strategy, tactics, force makeup is needed to defeat them?
Lots of questions, few answers from govts eager to beat the terrorism drum for base political motives, like our monkey! I wonder how much of the US effort is done with an eye to the November Senate election?
