Most likely Hockey or Abbot will take his place if , and it sure looks like it could happen,if Turnbull has to step down..

Abbott writes a blog every Friday in the Telegraph I often post on it ,in last weeks blog I told Tony that Turnbull was too left wing to put up against Rudd and that Tony was the best man for the job( if you piss in his pocket he'll usually publish your post).
Tony said he'd take more notice of me if I voted liberal( he knows I dont) but assured me Turnbull was the best person to lead the Libs, in other words he hates Turnbulls guts and cant wait till he stuffs up.
The same day one of the tele journos wrote that Abbott was now on first base seeing as tho Costello was gone but she thought he'd get the gig after the next election(which she expects the Libs to lose) maybe his time may come a little quicker than he thought.

Eric Abetz read out the text of the email in the Friday Senate committee meeting, said it was from Dr Andrew Charlton, Rudd's economics advisor, to Gretch seeking special assistance for car dealer John Grant.

Today a furiously backpedalling Turdbull says he doesn't have the now 'alleged' email. Stupid Abetz has it but Turdbull not? I declare Bullshit!

Just proves you can judge a book by its cover in some instances..he (Turnbull) always looked like a slimey liar to me..

This was just the most stupid thing to attempt to do, how he thought he could pull it off I'm not sure..how desperate must he have been.Its not like the Libs need the fallout from this..

I liked Turnball, but this e-mail shit is the stuff of political desperation. Unworthy of a real leader, or man.

Turnbull has this overwhelming vanity, thinks he is this hot-shot political player but Rudd & Swan have had to come up the hard way in politics. Rudd lost the seat of Griffith in 1996 (think it was then, he did lose it at one election anyway) and had to work to get it back. Since then he has improved his vote at each subsequent election.

Swan, whom the less politically realistic (Hi Sheepy me old poof) think is a weak link, was secretary of the Qld ALP and did the hard work that led to the success of Goss back in the early '90s. These, the Rudds, Swans & Gillards etc are seasoned political warriors whereas the dilettante Turdbull just used his wealth to stack the Wentworth electorate against Peter King.

Turdbull will just resign from parlt to go back into business or just enjoy the rich life when he sees he will never be PM. No staying power.
