A centrist Skip? How big is that centre circle (which doesn't exist on this test) spread then.

But I'd have thought you think of yourself as more of a progressive.

The Political Compass
Economic Left/Right: 1.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.97

I'd figured you'd be in that quadrant from your political comments... but as for
Useless (formally known as Aussie) he rarely makes any political comments so who can tell where he'd be?

I remember doing a political quiz on another Forum (don't think it was here) and I came out as a Libertarian. The chart looked like this below. I think this what Skippy is talking about ... being a Centrist. If you put in my above results in this chart, I could very well be a Centrist.

Yes there are a couple similar to that.
Americans tend to call Left and Right... Liberal and Conservative.
But that is not strictly correct.
Progressive and Conservative are the 2 opposites.
The US usage tends to distort the true meanings.

I'm a little left of centre in comparison to today's Coalition and Labor party, but that's because they have veered to the right, not because I have veered to the left.
In that graph I come up pretty close to Ghandi.
