I'm pretty sure that most of us don't even know who the fuck he is, let alone follow the pre/post-production hype of every movie in the coming attractions.

I'll probably see it, sooner or later, but the Mad Max franchise peaked with the Road Warrior. The new one may be technically superior (which, frankly, isn't hard to achieve these days), but I doubt it will have that spark, despite big names and budgets... happy to be proven wrong, though.

I've known about it since almost day 1 when they said they were definitely going to make it... that's how long it has been public knowledge. That goes back before the last batman and the movie warrior with Hardy in them..
The movie was first slated as a going concern back in 2003.
