Germany kicked some arse last night. What a game... the first 20 minutes of it was outstanding.
German precision. You have to love the Germans if for nothing else than their discipline, precision passing and team play.

It was utter humiliation for the Brazilians in Belo Horizonte as Germany ran riot to cruise into the World Cup final, Thomas Muller opening the scoring, Miroslav Klose adding a historic second before Toni Kroos supplied the third and the fourth before Sami Khedira provided another body blow before half time. Andre Schurrle added a well-taken sixth and a spectacular left-footed seventh after the break and despite Oscar's late consolation, Le Selecao's ignominy was complete.

Happy a Non-South American team won.
Been watching the Classic matches from the past World Cups. Good to see the offside rule being applied properly. I can see why the TV media would be upset by it's existence. Brazil keeps getting offside, no wonder they changed the rule.
Good to see the divers being told to get up.
Pity the SA influence on the game has turned it into a farce where the european teams now employ the same tactics to win.
Referees could reverse the damage to the game, but I doubt they ever will.
