from what i read it is a common practice among Brits on holiday in Spain, so much so it has its own name: "mamading"

"Mamading"?? In India (and in the back seat of my hubby's taxi) we call it mamooding. It is how I got pregnant. Don't let anyone tell you you can't get pregnant from oral sex!!
