Yes, but I figured you meant breeding on purpose, not canine hormones breeding more cross breds.

One pigger in the valley east of mine says he'll take a pup .. as I said they'd be give aways .. apparently if you want to sell pups you have to get them their shots, and vets aren't cheap.
Plus there's no guarantee anyone would buy the pups.

Plan was to let Gemma go her first season without breeding .. then I have a choice of 4 or 5 suitable dogs to do the job when the time is right.

You can count on a photo or few.

'Determined' is the term most suitable. Was the closest thing handy as an improvised chastity belt. And it worked.

On the weekend ending May and beginning June Gemma started looking for hidey holes.
On Sunday 1st of June, without my knowing she tunneled under the back off a Hilux ute.
Sunday night she moved out of the van and into her den.
On Monday the 2nd of June I found Gemma had given birth to 3 pups while I was at work.

On the 1st of June I was shown a litter of 9 day old Pitbull pups.
Next day Gemma's pups were born and were nearly twice the size.

Pics in the tunnel didn't come out so well due to low light and awkward angles.
Some of the phone shots were OK (they're the small pics ...

3 seems like a small litter for a dog. Maybe it their size so the litter has to be smaller or it is the breed.

Were there any that did not survive the first day and the little was actually larger?

Gemma won't let the pig (a sucker) suckle from her (so he bit her), but she will play with him.

Fred lets the pig out of his pen so he can play with him.

Which is fine until the pig chews a bone. Then Fred bit the pig for chewing a bone.
Gemma bit the pig because Fred bit the pig. Then Fred bit Gemma because she bit the pig.
