I can't disagree with you. He's probably the worst we've seen for a couple of years, although there are probably others who are equally as dishonest and have got their heads down trying not to be noticed. Maybe Thompson might give a few others up in return for a more lenient sentence, although it's probably too late for that now. I doubt he'll spend long in gaol. It's come at a good time for Abbott though - more ammunition to use against the opposition.DaS Energy wrote:

Labor are seriously going to have to revamp themselves otherwise we're going to be stuck with a dictator like Abbott for years. Unfortunately most of the decent people have left the Labor party. They need to find new blood urgently.

Showing your hatred and bias is stating "the facts as best you can" mantra? Dictator?
Gillard and Shorten backed Thomson to stay in power. people are coming out of the woodwork now to say they "knew he was guilty" he was the cause of 2 good people losing their jobs, Kathy Jackson and Marco Bolano and he slandered Abbott and lied his arse off while he mislead Parliament.

To quote Thomson "we've got your back" to Gillard may have more to it than Thomson repeating Gillard back to herself.
Thomson ran not guilty on the first charges and lost gaining him a greater punishment, will the risk copping greater punishment twice.

Unfortunately Gillard wasn't in a position to suspend Thompson - pity she wasn't, but then that's politics for you. We don't know that Jackson and Bolano are good people. Just because their families or Alan Jones says so - doesn't mean it's true.
However it is now legally confirmed that Thompson is a criminal. This wasn't the case when this news first hit the media - they were accusations only and he hadn't been tried by a Court of Law. Now you're free to say whatever you want about him, but I think we've overdosed on speculation about him. He's become a bit like Shapelle Corby. The public is sick of hearing about them both.

Yes we do because their versions were proven to be truthful. Just because their families or Alan Jones says so - doesn't mean it's true. Not a Jones fan... why would you even mention him?

But it is not speculation anymore and no sane person would believe his story anyway even Oakes laughed at him. He's become a bit like Shapelle Corby. The public is sick of hearing about them both.

DAS, mantra, Monk, Aussie and the rest of the Leftards here that supported and claimed he was guiltless and would be proven so... fess up and apologise to those you ridiculed over this.Thomson’s sentence is unlikely to be the end of the sordid affair with a Federal Court action on foot and HSU officials vowing to try and recover almost $400,000 from him.

Maybe you should fess up to being a cucking funt. To defend Thompson you prick is the last time I want to say anything to you.DaS Energy wrote:
