Ah huh? How well do you do at Chess?
I see your point and certainly Russia could win in the Crimea if the USA took them on but America is the only country in the world that can deliver a military force anywhere anytime. It will be a long time before China can do that and Russia never will have that capability.
Not while Obama is in office.

Here's the Russians looking ever so scared of the American ambassador :rofl

China did ok in Korea. Russia has just put a military force into the Ukraine, before that that it was Poland, Germany and Afghanistan.

Yes, both China and Russia are able to move military force into neighboring countries but neither has the capability to move forces anywhere anytime.

"Russia is disappointed Australia has opted for sanctions and hasn't used its non-permanent member status at the UN Security Council to address Russian concerns about Ukraine's new political rulers." Sky-News 20/13/2014

Now if we only had Kevin there, we would know on the hour every hour how he was fixing things.

Nobody yet has moved a sanction against Putin, not Bishop, not Abbott, not Obama. OH! what tough hero's they are, not!

Heard a US TV pundit using the analogy of Mexico retaking New Mexico for Russia retaking Crimea ... yeah, the US wouldn't stand for it but Crimea is a more complicated place ...

"Turning to Russia's position in the G8, Merkel said 'as long as there aren't the political conditions for such an important format as the G8 at the moment, there can no longer be a G8, neither a summit nor the format as such'."

Merkel sums up G8, wonder if Putin can save us the bullshit of G12

"As the economic fallout from the crisis deepened, EU leaders agreed on the need to cut the bloc's dependence on energy supplies from Russia, which supplies more than a quarter of its natural gas, much of it in pipelines through Ukraine.

But with many EU nations heavily reliant on Russian energy - and little prospect of rapidly finding alternatives - the bloc is divided on how far it should go with economic sanctions.

EU efforts to diversify energy supplies after Russia cut deliveries to Ukraine in 2006 and 2009 have so far failed to make much headway."

Barrack has gone delusional, desperate to be a somebody rather than Americas limp wrist.
"US President Barack Obama has urged the West to stand firm in opposing Moscow's takeover of Crimea, saying that “with time” Russians will realise “brute force” cannot win."

"Russia's Vladimir Putin has telephoned President Barack Obama to discuss the US proposal for a diplomatic solution to the crisis in Ukraine, the White House says."
