Re: Big Bang in the Ukraine
Obama spoke with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Friday and hailed the US position' on previous gas disputes between Russia and Ukraine that deeply rattled European economies in 2005-2006 and again in 2009.

Don't know what type of gas was in Russia's return sanction (see Obama) for sanctions imposed on it. But it rattled Europe to its knees, and saw it about face quick smart!LucasTheInnkeeper wrote:Do you think it was methane that went bang ?

Abbott no world leader, not that you would pick it by his trilling.
Obama phones world leaders when there is a crisis on!
"The White House said Obama discussed Ukraine in calls with French counterpart Francois Hollande, British Prime Minister David Cameron and Italian leader Matteo Renzi."

Black power has outed himself as chief mischief causing international trouble. 'French President Francois Hollande and Obama agreed on Saturday that 'new measures will be taken which would noticeably affect relations between the international community and Russia'

Re: Big Bang in the Ukraine
It's a bunch of hot air. Saying you're going to push for sanctions is meaningless simply because there's no way in fucking hell most of Europe will want to get involved for fear of having the Russians turn their heaters off, so that rules out NATO or EU sanctions worth a name. Russia also is one of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council, which means any attempt to push sanctions through the UN will get the veto.
All of this is just typical grandstanding. Entertaining, but ultimately pointless.
