Marion Scrymgour quits Labor - majority lost

Post by TomB » Thu Jun 04, 2009 7:39 pm

The Topend govt now has to deal with 2 independents to get policies passed. I reckon they're screwed next election.

The wheels are getting loose on the Labor bus. I don't think they have any chance of getting back in down here. I could almost bring myself to vote Liberal rather than these incompetent bastards.

I've thought Scrimgour has looked wobbly for a while.

"Scrimgour" is not a fortunate name.

She should have changed it to Slimcunt. Fortune would have followed.

If she had any brains she would model herself on Nick Xenophon and annoy the shit out of the arsehole government.

Although she declares herself stable, Scrymgour has a history of 'personal health' issues. I think she will probably fade to nothing after this episode which will also be hard to recover from for Labor.

I've been voting Green for years. But preferencing Labor - especially when WorkChoices came along (being a Union man 8-) )

I expect I'll vote Green for the rest of my voting life now. The two-party system has failed.
