USA 120V - 60Hz

Yeah, that doesn't really have anything to do with it. We use 120Vac@60Hz for most applianes and electronics with 240@60Hz for large appliances (central heating/HVAC, washer/dryer, ect). I've got a pair of 240 lines going into my home, one stepped down for 120 going into all the wall outlets and the other run to the garage, kitchen, and utility room for running ovens, ac, andsome of the larger tools in my workshop. Some places may also use 120/203Vac at 50Hz.

In any case you don't need to be an engineer to understand any of it as most people simply have no actual need to know it. If your electrical goes funny, chances are you'll call an electrician instead of try to fix it yourself, so knowing basic principles like Ohm's Law isn't a big deal for you.

However this and many other fucking idiots of intellect way above your own do use CO2 in the boiler of Nuclear and other types of power generation where a hot gas provides the motive power.

Except it is done, and used rarely as it's wasteful as fuck on fuel usage compared to PWR/BWR set ups.

Yeah, the UK operates several CO2-cooled reactors. Every one of them is more expensive to run than a PWR/BWR of the same power output. They also take up a lot more space than a PWR/BWR system as CO2 gas needs a lot more volume. Also, gas-cooled reactors are all capable of being breeder reactors, which presents a proliferation risk for nuclear weapons. Gas set ups also have to rely exclusively on graphite for a neutron moderator, which means if the control rods ever suffer a malfunction there's no way to moderate excess reactivity because CO2 is a shit neutron moderator.

But yeah, keep going on about 100C@10kBar instead of addressing any of the points I'm raising, you useless waste of oxygen.
