Control Freak! He had cameras throughout the apartment. His defence is that she suicided. That Websleuth's site has discussion by Aussies about it. Strangely, he has a Judge Only ... no Jury. The Judge will make a decision in a couple of weeks, apparently.

I've bookmarked that site. It's good.

Has anyone seen that crime show "Dates from hell"? We hear so much talk about Muslim violence towards females, but in first world countries like the US and even Australia, ordinary every day males can be incredibly crazy and violent when they snap.

I have Foxtel, I do watch the Crime Channel but they are now repeating/repeating/repeating stuff. Steve Liebman (sp?) has taken over the "Behind Mansion Walls" as orator ... all repeats, mostly Yank, and I can't stand that man.

It isn't just Muslims that demand a female be subservient, you know. There are control freaks everywhere. Mostly male but it is not unknown for females to be controlling.

The McStay Family for one. They disappeared in 2010. They were featured on the Discovery Channel. Actually, they thought they had walked across the border into Mexico but they have featured in the current news as they have just found the remains in the Mojave Desert.

Simon Gittany, on trial for murder of Lisa Harnum, allegedly threatened her counsellor
Not really following the case, but yeah, I read about that the other day. As one who is not prone to being CHILLED, I found that little episode to be rather CHILLING.

Especially the fake SMS he sent the counsellor using his fiancé's phone. How in the hell didn't she twig that it wasn't sent by her?

** The SMS was a 540 degrees COMPLETE FARKING ABOUT FACE by Lisa Harnum.
** Clothes she had secretly packed and given to her counsellor, preparing to leave her shared abode in a hurry coz she was so scared for her safety. She now wants them delivered back to her and Simon's unit. PRONTO.
** She gives her [up until that point] very switched-on and caring counsellor a gob full of abuse as well!
** She received the SMS less that 12 hours after Simon Gittany's batsh!t insane phone threats made to her.

Hmmm, fishy much?
"The counsellor said that she dropped Ms Harnum's clothes back that day.

''I felt that Cecilia had made her decision and it was best to follow the request in the text,'' she said."
I am v.skeptical. I think the poor old counsellor was extremely shaken and was now also fearing for her safety, and wanted "out" of the whole mess as quickly as possible.

I believe her testimony regarding the times and DETAILS of the sinister phonecall and SMS -– and I am not judging her actions afterwards -– but I simply don't believe the rationale she puts forth. Ya can't be that dumb, surely?!
"But counsel for Mr Gittany, Phillip Strickland, SC, suggested his client had never made any threat. ''I want to suggest that he did not utter any threat, he didn't say 'I know where you f---ing live' or call you a f---ing bitch or anything like that,'' he said.

''I remember that night very well,'' the counsellor replied."
CHILLING.

http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/ill-fing-harm ... 2w0we.html

**Actually, I am going to judge her actions afterwards. Angry profanity laden threats of violence, followed by the world's sussest SMS.... A simple phonecall to the cops might have been in order, surely? Maybe she was too scared to even do that?

That Websleuths site http://www.websleuths.com/forums/ can be interesting.
I've only spent an hour or so perusing that site, might give it another shot.

It left me with a good impression, the few threads I read. A mix of sleuthing, and posts from family / citizens who were THERE, who were on the ground when events unfolded. Really interesting reading in parts. I didn't come across one whackjob commenter, either, but I'm sure they're out there!

RELATED SLEUTHING STORY: Seven years ago an odd fellow started commenting on a blog of one of the senior crime writers at The Australian, Gary Hughes. The guy's comments really stuck out for me –- but I pegged him as a weirdo living in a fantasy world, or maybe even a clever troll. He never struck me as legit.

Strike me pink when a few months later the blogger said the STRANGE COMMENTER might have been the Claremont serial killer!

Has a serial killer blogged here? http://blogs.theaustralian.news.com.au/ ... ogged_here

Strange Commenting Dude went by the handle of Dr. Phibes and he often signed off as Andy or Andrew. Here's some of his early highlights ganked from Gary Hughes' blog's comment section.

I met Sarah Mc Mahon in early nov 2000. She came to my place for a visit with 2 friends on a Friday.I saw her on the Sunday afterwards. She disappeared on the day after Melbourne Cup in Nov 2000. The Police flew their chopper (Polair 61) over my 1/2 acre place near the Swan Valley, as cause i had met her. They bugged my phone for a while. I have had a woman giving me probs for ages. Don`t ya hate that, ppl accusing ya of bopping sum 1 off then annoying ya to hell thinking they can do that & sleep ok?Andy. PS: ffs, some ppl do not learn to leave some ppl alone.

Phantom 62, Photos of Julie Cutler were of a dark hair. And as i met Sarah McMahon twice her hair is dark. I do think she had green eyes btw.

There is a recurring theme with Compass bearings etc with the bodies etc. Everyone should check out ellis c taylor.com he has a plethora of web pages to be seen. Some of the good has have been removed as they have been up for so long. Sarah Mc Mahon, Claremont girls, Freemasons involvement & satanic circles reaching into High Govt. in Western Australia. You can see that by the Pyramid shaped water feature at perth`s Belltower, as well as the Pyramid conservatory nearby.Even a former Perth premier has been involved in the Satanic, lay lines/come Secret circle Buildings about the place. As i said check out ellic c taylor on google. Andy

John of u.k. Champion Lakes is in Westfield Suburb near the suburb of Gosnells in the south/east area of Perth. The lake in the Champion Lakes area is called Wright Lake. If u want i can do a search in that area. I have 2 other lakes that i feel are strongly in need of a search, 1 is north near when Kiara was found. The other is near where Jane was found.I do believe Sarah Spiers is in water. Andrew. andyinwa@hotmail.com

I saw on ABC News here tonight (thurs 7 dec) that there is no link in Mark Dixie being involved in the Claremont Serial Killings or any other disappearances of women in Perth,Australia. So they must obviously have some DNA from the sticky tape used or from nearby at the body sites. The police have my DNA sample & since they haven`t been back, they have discounted me too. I was up in Broome years ago & felt someone was nearby as i was driven to Cable beach.I had this feeling 3 times. I didnt go & search in the dunes as it was hot & humid as. ( dec/jan) A tourist found a local man 6 months later. He died from natural causes. I really wished i went & searched. Lake Cooloongup i had a bad feeling when driving to Madora bay many years ago. But i don`t think this is linked to Claremont.I have searched there, but it is quite rugged with the lake bushes near there. Andrew

Um, John I don`t know anything re Blackburn & Agge cases over here. Haven`t heard anything about it at all. In Regards to Polair 61. They flew their chopper over the paddocks near my place & did a u - turn over Roe Highway & came straight back over my place. I was replacing the veranda poles at the time,(arvo in November 2000), & managed to get a camera out as they went past to do the u turn. I took 1 or 2 more as they flew over.My block of land is a reas. size, but is narrow but quite long. I saw their thermal imaging camers out the side/left front. It was too big of a job to have someone go over the 1/2 acre block with a push radar cart. They used the chopper so they didn`t have to get a warrant and could get heat readings of the ground if a mates lady friend (Sarah Mc Mahon)was there. They flew smack down the Middle then went straight back to base. Hey your Ipswitch Serial Killer is going hammer & tongs (excuse the pun) with the 5 prostitues who have been killed. Guess he`s trying to improve on our New South Wales Backpacker killer Ivan Milat. I think he got to 7 but probably far more they recon. In regards to Gerald Ross who was found in Baldivis; I was riding my dirtbike down that way in the Baldivis pine plantation when i rode past a cross. I thought someone on a bike had come unstuck,as they do quite alot over here in the stix. I went back & had a look & found it was erected by the Shoalwater Task Force who were investigating his disappearance. He was found off an internal track in the small plantation.Bit hard to drive in there with the ruts & sand unless u had a 4wd.Some tracks u can use a 2wd.A few people from the local horse riding school ride thru there. Jane R was identified by her belly ring. She was a daycare worker near my workplace but there r quite a few d/c places in Wembley. Perth.

John i did a search in the Police site u linked us all to.Yes those 2 women are missing. But there hasn`t been much on the news( well i haven`t seen anything) Alot of ppl go missing but most take shelter at friends as they don`t want to be found as they want to sort their immediate probs out. Thats why it isn`t big news for a few days. They simply turn up later, well mostly.

Two young ladies 17 or 18 have been charged with her murder John. Guess they forgot to swap wheelie bins (rubbish bins) with another house in the street… Reminds me of the idiots at snowtown with the bodies in the barrels in the disused bank vault. Was only a matter of time in both cases.

Phantom62 I don`t think Sarah McMahon belonged to a health club in Claremont. She lived virtually on the opposite side of town to Claremont.

You say each victim knew the killer. They were selected from a list. You say you know where they were murdered? You recon you need to do more legwork to find the C.S.K`s name? You know what happened to each victim? Um, you seem to know alot that most people do not know. I know a bit too. But you ask about clothing missing,Jewellery & accessories missing that virtually everyone knows were taken; Brooch, sunflower keyring etc. etc. Give me a buzz. Andy andyinwa@hotmail.com

Sorry Phantom62, I wasn`t trying to wind ya up. I just wanted to know why the secrecy with your info.Interesting re the Health club theory. But as i said Sarah Mc Mahon only worked in Claremont & would probably been a member of a club in the hills near her home. In the link i provided above, a casual worker at an East Fremantle Company had a girlfriend who wore a gladdagh ring. Ciara Glennon wore a claddagh (irish) brooch. How co-incidental that is i have thought. The worker was capable of turning the brooch into a ring.Phantom u haven`t mentioned what exactly happened to the women.Send me an e mail if you can. I`ll tell u what i know. John of the u.k; I have tried to get the W.A. Police to re-open the Deborah Michelle Anderson case in Middle Swan. I knew the young Lady`s Auntie. So i said i`d try to get it reopened for her. No luck when i tried. Tracey of U.K; Did you go to the police re your suspicions of Mark Dixie? There is a lake or 3 down south where i want to have a look at. One area is where the Freeway may have gone thru an area where a lady (who has commented on here) and i think Sarah S. may be. An off ramp may now be covering the spot, so i want to go to Dept.of Land Administration in Midland, Perth to check out old maps. As someone said Google Earth is a great tool to use,and that has been helpful. Dr.Phibes.

There are still serial murderers in Australia who haven't been caught. Yet. Many unsolved murders too. Provided the Cops were careful, originally, and we had the facilities to store the evidence, perhaps one of these days with the DNA they will be solved. Too little, too late, probably but I am sure the family of the victims would be pleased. Not knowing what happened to a loved one must be a horrible thing to take with you through life.

I am quite fascinated by forensics, although I could never, ever do the job (weak stomach!). I have had training in the Law (not criminal though) but mostly I enjoy research and thinking outside the so-called box. The Websleuths site is something I came across when "researching" via Google. I am not a Member there and have no intention of joining up. It strikes me as a bit more "female coffee club" thing (which I would certainly avoid), but the Mods seem to be on the job and "conspiracy theories" are definitely frowned upon. :D

Did you find anything on Websleuths about the Claremont murders? If you are that interested maybe join up?

I have read about that particular case and it comes up every so often. Melbourne's Herald/Sun has a whole section on Crime/Murder/Cold cases. No other newspaper does that.
