9/11 Twin Towers fancy dress win

Post by Super Nova » Fri Nov 08, 2013 7:19 pm

I think this is another example of the PC numpties going overboard.

A pair of uni students coming up with a novel idea for Halloween. They are in a night club. Who gives a shit and they had some fun.

I don't see what the big deal is.

Anger after women in 9/11 Twin Towers fancy dress win Halloween costume contest

Their outfits included models of the two hijacked planes crashing into the New York skyscrapers and tiny model people falling to their deaths.

A nightclub has come under criticism by giving top prize in a Halloween fancy dress contest to two women dressed as the blazing Twin Towers.

Amber Langford and Annie Collinge, both 19, dressed up as the buildings involved in the 9/11 terror attacks, where more than 2,700 people lost their lives.

Their outfits - marked North Tower and South Tower - included models of the two hijacked planes crashing into the New York skyscrapers.

The costumes also had tiny models of people falling to their deaths and were topped off with the women wearing smouldering Stars and Stripes flags on their heads.

The pair won £150 between them after being voted best fancy dress by a DJ at the huge Rosies club in Chester.

Yeah, I saw that at work, showed it to my boss and we both had a good laugh. Also helps that the two ladies in question are pretty easy on the eyes.

The only "funny" thing about it is their total lack of empathy.

I'm sure they have plenty of empathy.

These girls were in a nightclub competition. Adult fun.

It was a bit of fun.

Would you think the same when someone comes dressed up as Charles Manson.... Jack the Ripper.... Julia Gillard

It's bloody Halloween FFS.

I don't really get it but presume that the Old White Haired dude is supposed to be God? If so, who is the other guy with the yellow "turban" and wrist bands? Must have something to do with a movie that males watch? :slap
