So I did. The next seat along is Bass, with a margin of 5,276.

Capricornia 1,305...5
Reid 1,460...6

Braddon 3,380...10
Hindmarsh 3,573...11
Page 4,333...12
Gilmore 4,807...13
Lindsay 5,234...14 nope that's 14 seats

Add all those margins together and you’ve got 33,939. If exactly that number of the right people in the right places had changed their votes, the results in each of those seats would have been tied. Add another 15 to get 33,954, and you’ve got Labor winning each seat by a single vote and the Coalition losing its majority.

From William Bowe, owner of the Poll Bludger

Well the Coalition have 90 seats. The ALP 55.
90+55=145 so you'd need at least a 73/72 split, so that would be 18 seats the Coalition would have to lose. Not the 14 you posted.
Well Hebe where do you think I got my figures from...
I got them from the official AEC Virtual Tally Room...
It was in all the papers that the ALP had their lowest Primary vote since 1903 and I think Antony Green also stated it so I'm going with that as being true as well.
You can cling onto your pipedream figure based on the entrails of a dead wombat, but we all know the ALP copped a whooping and a big one.
Here ya go I'll make a similar ALP list for you... ALP most marginal seats.
McEwen 313
Parramatta 915
Lingiari 807
Bendigo 2,333
Lilley 2,373
Moreton 2,557
Chisolm 2,753
Bruce 2,979
Werriwa 3,473
Kingsford Smith 4,719
Brand 5,004
Greenway 5,137
Richmond 5,080
Griffith 5,201
...14 about 43,000 votes... not that the Coalition needs it. 33,000 and they'd win another 12 seats... making it 102-43...
Fifteen of the Coalition’s new seats are held on very thin margins. Eleven seats have margins of less than 4000 voters. YET 9 ALP seats are in the exact same situation... In essence the election was a lot tighter than was first proposed. In effect this means that it would only take about 30,000 people to change their vote to change the government. Nope, someone can't add up...
So yes in the end, an exercise in stats for no real reason.
What was your point again?
Oh yeah... on a full moon when the dingo howls if exactly the right people, in the exact right place, at the exact right time, vote for the exact right person, then Labor could win.

BUT THEN NEF HAS ALREADY POINTED ALL THIS OUT BEFORE, HASN'T SHE... :rofl :rofl :rofl

The leftards are desperate for anything, a.n.y.t.h.i.n.g. at all, to whine about. There is nothing they can do for several years, anyway. This is why Mantra is asking us to do research for her, so that she can then have something, a.n.y.t.h.i.n.g. at all, to criticise Tony Abbott and his team about. The Coalition aren't co-operating (in the leftard mind) by giving a 2 minute daily chat about their "achievements" for the day on the nightly TV News. All is quiet on the home front while the Government gets on with Business. I even linked the OFFICIAL Media Releases for her but she didn't find those interesting enough to criticise. Too bad, so sad. :purple :yellow :purple :yellow

We aren't whining at all. We're looking for achievements. And so far there have been none. You don't need Parliament to have sat for there to be some action.

And by the way, your constant referral to "leftards" just makes you look Ill-informed, blindly prejudiced and shallow. Try and respond with some facts and dignity, if you can find any.

Really.... oct 2012 2000+ asylum seekers oct 2013 300+ asylum seekers

You keep forgetting Parliament hasn't met yet, and apparently ignore the rest.
Abbott went to Indonesia and met with world leaders and we are all still good friends, even if your lot said we wouldn't be.
cooperation between Australia and Indonesia has improved re Asylum seekers since the change of government.
legislation for the removal of the carbon tax and the MRRT has been drawn up.
I'm hearing a lot of whining and reading a lot of crap from the Progs on many sites.
We all remember labor's greatest achievement... betraying the majority of Australians by bringing in a tax they told us they wouldn't.

What sort of achievements do you expect? The Government was only sworn in on 18 September. Rome wasn't built in a day so exercise a little patience, grasshopper. ;)

Once Parliament has resumed, then "action" will no doubt be announced. Legislation tabled and life will go on.

What would you rather be called? LW Progressives?

I posted links to the Coalition site and the facts are there for you to read up on. This Government isn't going to go on the TV on a daily basis, obviously, so you know as much as the rest of us do. Get used to it. I am not going to make up stuff just so you have something to criticise.

Oh, and Rorschach has mentioned several things that the Government has done, why do I need to repeat what he has told you to appear dignified?

Oh come on Hebe, PB leans extremely hard to the left. It's full of lefty hate, bile and spittle. They even turned on each other during the Kev/Ranga/Kev times. :rofl Funny as to see the back flipping, back sliding, Kev/Ranga love/hate fest.

'twas a sight to behold and provided many hours of highly comic relief.

No slight against William, as he provides reasonably accurate poll data, but even he is so palpably left you can read the tone in his posts when the poll data isn't moving in the direction he prefers.
