Try using a vaporizer. You're drawing heated vapor from the vegetable matter instead of burning it and drawing in combustion gases. Lot smoother a hit and far less likely to fuck up your lungs or cause you to cough a bunch. Same principle, really. Heat the material to it's vapor temp without igniting the gases released, inhale those gases... profit. I'm just talking about building something a tad more robust and something he could build himself since Yogi lives in the boonies.

The smallish ecigs won't get hot enough to vap bud, but some of the larger models can handle weed, hash, hash oil, ect just fine. Guy I know has one built into a replica of the prop lightsaber used by Darth Vader, even makes the "SNAPwhooooosh" noise from the movies when he takes a rip.

True, an e-cigarrette can't handle cannabis but a personal vaporizer is nothing more than a adaption of the same technology. I was in Colorado recently, a state that has legalized recreational use of cannabis, and there were plenty of people walking down the street with a personal vaporizer which are similar in appearance to the e-cig. What is the climate towards cannabis in AUS these days? When I was there last it was pretty fucking liberal compared to the US I thought.

Thanks for the advice, but I quit cold turkey without much drama ... after 4 days my veins were up due to increased blood pressure, but they do that in hot weather anyway. Then I didn't sleep for 3 days, that was a bit annoying, but handled it fine.
I thought I'd be tired or spacey, but really only got grumpy for a day or so.
Takes me a week to get the THC out of my system, and then I remember my dreams. I used to have extremely violent dreams, but not this time.

What is the climate towards cannabis in AUS these days? When I was there last it was pretty fucking liberal compared to the US I thought.

In Redneck wonderland .. er I mean Kweensland it depends on the magistrate. I've seen an easy going magistrate rule 4 'No conviction recorded' in a row for possession or cultivation. But the 1st time I wound up in court for anything in Qld [in 2001]
I was fined $750 for a bong under my bed, and told next time I would be gaoled/jailed, yet 3000 rounds of 7.62 X 39 mm ammo was untouched, twice.
