At this stage the only way I can benefit is if the company buying the company about to be granted the permit pays spotters fees for being shown/led to what's within their exploration territory. I walked 24 Km or more yesterday, collecting mineral samples, and hoping to find pigs of course.
Have you thought of the mess they'll make of your land?

I don't mind if they dig a few holes, I dig a few myself. If they did mine my place I'd arrange for the hole to be lined with clay (got plenty of that) for a dam, or if a tunnel, that they cement spray the walls and leave it for me. I've always had a fascination for tunnels, and out my way it'd be the best way to escape the heat.

Today's the day a private Brisbane based mineral exploration company (with a name suggestive of Dope growers) which has been bought by a public company listed on the London stock exchange (with a name suggestive they are Jewish) is granted their EMP.

Turns out I was kidding myself thinking I could get spotters fees for showing what's where and/or how to get in there, because they've already done aerial electromagnetic resonance surveying, and actually know more about what's in the rocks than I do.
Alternatively I could get paid by black fellas to show them where their cultural sites or artifacts are, but I don't want to get involved in black fella politics, with Goreng Goreng laying blanket claims over other tribes (Talebelang Bunda, Bunda Bunda, Wakka wakka) ground. And I would be universally unpopular in my area if neighbors knew.

Anyway it seems I'm in a 20 km long mineralised corridor with gold, silver, copper, molybdenum, kaolin (a form of aluminium) and zinc.
They're mainly chasing the gold, have a small mine already operating a few km north of me (ore processed at Mt Rawdon (near Mt Perry).
I can hear their blasting sometimes.
Their main target is about 9 km south of me. They've found a 5 X 3 km reef and shear system with 1 to 2 million ounces. Reckon they're getting 181g/t (6 Oz per tonne).
Frequent areas with 1g/t and everywhere else bearing 100 ppb.

I've got mainly iron pyrite (fools gold) but have found a number of places with shiploads of molybdenum.
I was looking for ilmenite because titanium is worth good money, but with so much molybdenum at hand I'm looking into mining it myself.

I know a ridge with a forest of these things, many way over my head, up aound 10 or 12 ft tall.
Apparently they grow 1cm every 3 years, which would make this about 1000 years old.
wonky cycad (#1) [@25%].JPG
Don't worry Mantra, that ridge is loaded with iron pyrite 9fools gold)

If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

Plenty of these around ATM ...
Goanna @ donga 9 [@25%].JPG
Nearly stepped on this small but deadly fella yesterday. Good thing he moved, rather than bite.
Being 200 metres higher and 6 km away from home in a creek up a mountain means I'd still be there .. somewhere.

Man they can grow big. The biggest I ever saw was actually running through the centre of the small town I grew up in.

I have heard they can really cause some damage if they think your a tree and try to climb you.

I saw a small one [roughly 2 ft long] in Gin Gin IGA. The staff didn't believe me at first when I told them about it.
Took 4 of them to catch it.

The one in the photo is about 4 ft.
A 6 fter is about the biggest I've seen.
ATM there's little black and grey fluffy tails on the ground all around the apple gums.
I suspect the goannas are eating the possums .. Sugar Gliders actually .. little bastards eat the buds on dope plants.

Re the minerals .. after a bit of examination, what I thought was Molybdenum is most likely aluminiosilcate/mica or arsenopyrite .. would be good if the later as it generally only occurs with gold, silver and copper.
I've found Chalsopyrite, an ore of Copper .. also generally a good sign of Gold about.
I've found Chert fossils of roots of plants. And what appears to be a fault-line in exposed black iron stone bedrock, very close to big changes in rock types and associated minerals.

The gold on my place (and all around me) is very fine/small particles like dust and is actually mixed with the Iron pyrite.
So I'm currently researching Lewis acid mixes to make my own aqua regia/royal water, to use in my electrochemical bucket reactor without blowing myself up The Titanium anodes are actually trail bike valves, and the Platinum/Rhodium cathodes car catalytic converters.
I've worked out how to get around Gold's high electronegativity and unreactivity, but I'm keeping my catalyst and reactant secret squirrel.

I'm currently a bit knocked about. On Monday morning Fusswit out the back, the same C..T who poisoned Rocket (my last dog) used a piece of meat (according to other neighbours) to entice Fred (my current dog) close enough to grab. Then tied him up.
I was riding (old 2 stroke AG bike) around looking for him and heard his bark coming from Fusswit's place.
So I rode straight in and demanded my dog. Fusswit & Scrubber were screaming "Get fucked, fuck off ect ect"
I said "If I don't get that dog back, you're going to get no end of trouble"
Fusswit's screaming "Get off my properrty, you're trespassing" and telling Scrubber to call the police.
I said "Fine, call the police, I'll wait for them" ... Kicked the bike over, put it in gear and said to Fusswit "I'll be seeing you"
He said "Is that a threat?" I replied "You take it anyway you like C..T" then released the clutch to ride away.

That's when I copped a wooden sledge hammer handle over the back of the head.
So I threw the bike on the ground, turned and tried to take the stick.
I took two hits on the left arm and actually got a hold of the stick for a fraction of a second.
Then copped one in the left rib cage. Which is when I retreated.
Got my head stitched up at Gin Gin hospital, and the swelling on left arm has mostly gone (not broken),
but I think I have broken ribs, and am coughing blood.
Had a CT scan this morning.

While in Gin Gin hospital getting stitched up Fusswit had my dog impounded, so I got him back yesterday.
Lucky for Fusswit and Scrubber .. when they poisoned Rocket I had an ambush planned and intended to inflict serious pain.
Then 3 weeks later I got Fred. So this time, if I didn't get Fred back, I was going to execute the pair of them, no ifs or buts.

A heap of people want me to press charges, but I'm not .. I want to punish them myself.

Um ... things are likely to get pretty extreme soon .... if you don't hear from me for a couple of months, I'm probably doing 15 to 20 for double murder.

I saw a goanna just recently halfway up this massive tree trying to get to a cockatoo's nest. It was huge - at least a metre long and very solid. Before I knew what it was up to some boys started throwing rocks at it. I told them to leave it alone and next minute a flock of cockatoos arrived screeching at the top of their lungs and actually started attacking it too. It was so desperate - initially it ignored the boys and the cockatoos, but eventually took off thankfully.

If you look on your CT - you'll find that you own the land, but you don't own the minerals underneath it. What a scam by the legislators of this country. You won't be able to keep these potential riches to yourself and you need to apply for your own mining license so it's all legal. Licenses only cost about $100 which is ridiculous considering the probable wealth gained from properties belonging to others.

It sounds like the wild west. Australia is supposed to be a civilised country yet it sounds as though there are vigilantes and cowboys alive and thriving on the far north coast.

What did your dog do that was so wrong? Surely when you're on a property - you don't need to chain your dog?

Press charges - it sounds like you've got some support. Don't kill anyone. It's not worth going to gaol and leaving your animals and your property to a fate that you will have no control over. You need to think about any revenge carefully and quietly. Find a legal way to effect payback or do something more subtle where you won't be the first suspect.

Have seen that myself in the past down south .. Kookaburras will have a go too.

When I bought the property 20 odd years ago, I was informed I only own 6 feet deep. The State claims all minerals and water beneath that depth. In the last 2 or 3 years I have been informed by an amateur prospector that the law was altered so we only own 6 inches deep.
Well I bought 6 foot deep, I have not been compensated, nor even consulted on the resumption of most of my land, so I refuse to acknowledge the new law. No matter anyway, my electrolysis method is my substitute for panning [so should be able to get away with it with a fossicking licence] because I can extract much finer particles. I went through all the mining regs back in 1999 upon finding a timber lined shaft hidden under short planks burried about 4 ft deep. Thing with staking a claim is you've got to be spot on/right on the mark to get the reef. Because all claims are gazetted, so the bigger crews just put a massive exploration permit around you. If you're a bit out, they get it.

Yeah, a neighbor said recently "this is a dangerous neighborhood" ... Further north, it is pretty much like the wild west.

He went exploring (as dogs do) onto Fusswit's property. A friend [commenting on unrelated topic] complained about people from other countries running away from something and then trying to institute it here. My reply was that's how I see Fusswit, some thick-head from Campbelltown [NSW] trying to impose the rules and regs of the city in the bush. Well, I, and nearly everybody out there bought there to give ourselves space from other people, people like him in particular. This character turned up 7 years ago and we've had nothing but dramas since. It has been decided he MUST go. And I've accepted that I'm probably the one who has to make it happen.
Re chaining dog - the cop who came to see me at Gin Gin hospital, who had actually been called to Fusswit's place by Scrubber tried advising me I should keep him on a lead for him to go to the toilet when I take him off the chain (chaining him up is a recent thing) blah blah ... I didn't comment but thought "Don't be phuking ridiculous, I live in the bush so I don't have to do that sort of stuff"

I'll be suspect # 1 alright ... um ... the less said in this regard probably the better.

As it turns out I won't have to lift a finger in regards to dealing with Fusswit, and I'll have a concrete alibi.

Probably just as well too. When I last posted I had just had a CT scan, as I was coughing blood after being belted in the ribs with a lump of wood. According to the quaks I have a cyst/hard lump on my lung. Entirely my own fault, I've suspected I've had a chest infection for a couple of months but kept smoking, both baccy and weed.

Now I'm on two courses of antibiotics, and the quak said if the cyst remains I have lung cancer.
I said to the quak "Isn't lung cancer hard to deal with?"
He replied "It's a death sentence"

My father said not to give too much credence to what these Indian doctors say [citing Jayant Patel] and says if I have it, he'll pay for the chemo. In which case I'll be going to stay in Sydney for a while. At a place he's just aquired in Sutherland Shire, not far from Cronulla beach.

Um ... the old man is pretty well off, in assets anyway, but currently low in liquidity, and has the tax man up his bum for a $1000 a week, so is offloading/sacrificing some assets. The Gold Coast beach front property sold for $140k less than he paid. One of the factories in Sydney also sold at a loss. Currently the G/C hinterland Mcmansion (set up like Hugh Hefners playboy resort - eg 3 spa baths - overkill is an undestatement) that cost $1.7 M to build is on the market. He got it cheap after the GFC. Some doctor has offered $1.25 M, so if anybody's intersted, you just need to better 1 & 1/4 mil.
There will probably be some factories and/or warehouses up for grabs too, so anyone cashed up that's interested, PM me and I'll get the details.

By the way, I've quit smoking. Had to. Tried to have a bong on Thursday night, it was phuking excruciating.
Such a shame, I grow better weed than the hydroponic $#!+ they palm off in the cities, but I can't touch it.

Good on you. It takes a lot of strength giving up bad habits, although a good scare from the doctor gives you more motivation. Even if the cyst remains - they won't know anything until you've had a biopsy. It could be just a reaction to the beating on your ribs, but even if it's not - there are plenty of lung cancer survival stories. Still it's better getting used to going without now than in 20 years time when it might be too late.

If you went to Sydney - would you take your dog with you?

Your father should wait until he gets the right price. We've got an avalanche of Chinese investors at present paying above the market price for any property they can snatch up and of course at the same time making it almost impossible for young Australians to get into the market. He shouldn't have any trouble offloading them for the market price plus.
