No aircond. Not too cold yet thanks to a nice wet winter so far, resisting getting the heater out.

But 11 fluoros on 9-10 hours a day chew up a bit: 11 x 40w or half that of a one-bar radiator.

Could be cheaper, fucking ceiling not insulates, drafts means heating doesn't do all that much.

But I hate the fucking water bill!

But the Oppn wants to delay the vote on an ETS till after Copenhagen when they will delay it on some other crap ground. Uturnbull wants one but has no say in the party. And we continue to emit GHG and the world continues to heat up.

We have 9 people in our house, quite often 10. So I don't know how that works out pro-rata compared to other households but I am terrified of the post winter bills if these are the going into winter ones.

Well, maybe a better one will result:
G8 leaders agree to emissions cuts and to limit temperature rise to 2C

BARACK Obama and other leaders have backed historic new targets for tackling global warming in an agreement designed to pave the way for a world deal later this year.

For the first time, America and the other seven richest economies agreed to the goal of keeping the world’s average temperature from rising more than 2C.

They also agreed to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 80 per cent by 2050 as they strove for a worldwide deal at Copenhagen in December. …

Climate Change Minister Penny Wong, who took part in a marathon meeting of world environment ministers in Rome yesterday, ahead of a meeting of leaders of 17 major economies today, welcomed the G8’s agreement….

However, Senator Wong said there was still a long way to go to reach agreement on binding targets before December’s global climate change conference in Copenhagen.

Ele, you should have your own show.

Packed to the raffels.

Each week you raffle off one of your family members until you can pay your winter heating bill.

It is a ratings getter and a Neo Liberal economic winner.
