I'd like to open guest posting back up and lift whatever restrictions were put on new members ... and add a fresh mod.

The positives of such a move wold be?
1/ More topics and comments of abuse directed at individuals.
2/ Access to crap and negativity by the public or prospective members.
3/ Allowing mel to talk to herself and insult others via her "guest" socks, ad nauseam.

About as often as you change yours if the cankerous odour emanating from your lower extremities is any indication. ;)

One positive will be that those who don’t come here to chat about politics will be able to get their fill on the guest boards.
This will hopefully stop the trolling of the registered user forums.

Also, I like the idea of giving members who have been banned the opportunity to start a fresh.
