Woooooo!!!!!!!!!!
Rudd plans 'world's largest' solar project
The Federal Government says it wants to create the largest solar energy project in the world.
It says the project will be as close as possible to the existing energy grid.
Visiting Liddell Power station in the Hunter Valley, Prime Minister Kevin Rudd said the Government would spend almost $1.4 billion creating the project.
The funding is part of the Government's commitment to spend $4.5 billion on reducing carbon pollution.
The project will include up to four individual solar plants generating on average the same amount of energy as a coal-fired power station.

Of course, would be so FUCKING nice if Rudd stopped FUCKING around subsidising FUCKING so-called "clean coal" and used that money to start even more renewable energy projects!!

I don't. I am interested in getting solar HW when my gas HWS bites the dust any time now. Solar PV panels give stuff-all return!

Interested????
This is unacceptable JM, you should be ashamed.
Solar hot water has been around at least 25 yrs.
We, the Australian, community demand you get one right now
How dare you go about chanting renewables for everybody else, whilst you release a large amount of CO2.
Shame job on you
We demand more Dams too.

What do we want , Dams.
When do we want em?? NOW! (repeat)
That way, we can solve Australias fresh water crisis. Before it all runs away becasue of Global Cooling, which has resulted in rainfall everywhere.
Even here. We had rain which is higly unusual this time of year.

Most good dam spots are already occupied. . .by dams. They are no panacea: remember the Melbourne reservoir rendered unusable for 2-3 years by those major bushfires there? Bush fires that have been becoming more frequent, bigger & hotter thanks to global warming? The global warming that is reducing rainfall in SE Australia?

Not so monk, I live on solar alone and tho I'd like to increase my system it works great.
My neighbour's have grid connection and also solar, there system is about two kw and they get enough power from that to be able to sell enough power back to the grid to wipe out their power bill, with the rebates around atm for under five grand you could become self sufficient too.
