What a shame that the swing against Bob Katter wasn't quite enough to knock him off his pedestal in Kennedy. I'll bet there were sweat rings under that Akubra of his.

Be interesting to see if it has any effect on his behaviour and political course.

Albo-sleazy on Meet The Press claims the ALP have a mandate. Someone should tell him labor lost the election and did it big-time.
Heaven help us if he becomes leader we'll have to listen to his painfully whiny voice, lying to us all, for another 3 years.

All the returned Labor morons on TV have shown me today, is that they are in denial of the reasons for their loss and the same idiocy will continue on their side of politics.

LABOR'S election trouncing has triggered a bitter backlash against Kevin Rudd's "dysfunctional" campaign style and the ALP's backroom machine.

As multiple seats fell during a dark night for Labor, senior frontbenchers vented against the leadership ructions - claiming they had alienated voters and contributed to Tony Abbott's emphatic win.

Criticism was also levelled at Mr Rudd's key political adviser, Bruce Hawker,
while retiring senator Trish Crossin hit out at the ALP's national secretary George Wright - and called for heads to roll in party HQ.

Hawker is an idiot and the sooner they divest themselves of him the better.
So much for importing the Scot and the Americans.... fail and fail...

Labor will have to find a decent leader and they've got no-one. No point regurgitating old ministers - they've got too much negative history.

Main thing is—NBN will be stopped and nothing will be rolled out in its place and we slide down the international competitiveness scales until we are the poor white trash of Asia.

Au contraire—still plenty of talent left.

I hope they will pick Shorten first, when he is burned then elect Jason Clare. Victory in the next election is very possible—the new govt just has so little talent available. Talented candidates were rejected in favor of dickheads like Jaymes Diaz who were religious enough to please the powers that be and there is so much deadwood on the front bench! Geez, imagine Dutton trying to manage Health, Hockey and Robb the economy—deep recession is inevitable as the austerity is imposed, especially after the economic illiterate Costello hands in his so–called Audit report.
