One Nation was a bunch of hillbilly rednecks motivated by insecurity that they blamed Asylum Seekers for.

Ah no it wasn't.
I have first hand experience and knowledge whereas you?
Sorry, but you have no idea.
You in fact have reverted to ridicule and abuse instead of factual refutation.
You have failed yet again to address any of the points I made.
All of which are true.

Read more: http://www.smh.com.au/federal-politics/ ... z2cNovqAkV" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;Hanson could win on back of right-wing preferences
August 19, 2013
Tim Colebatch is The Age's economic editor.
One Nation leader Pauline Hanson has a real chance of returning to Federal Parliament after winning high preferences from a number of smaller right-wing parties for the Senate election for NSW.
Ms Hanson figures high on the preference tickets issued by the Shooters and Fishers, the Liberal Democrats, Christian Democrats, Katter's Australia Party, the DLP and Rise Up Australia, led by anti-Muslim pastor Danny Nalliah.
Ms Hanson made tilts for the Senate in Queensland in 2004 and 2007, winning 4.5 to 5 per cent of the vote, but few preferences. The Coalition, Labor and the Greens have united in putting her last on their tickets - but if she wins 5 per cent of the vote this time, minor party preferences give her a serious chance of winning.
She is one of several outsiders who have cornered the best of the preference deals between the record 44 parties and 110 candidates contesting the election, and stand a chance of vaulting into the Senate on the back of those preferences.
While a party requires 14.3 per cent of the vote after preferences to win a Senate seat, in 2004 Family First candidate Steve Fielding won a seat in Victoria with 1.9 per cent of the vote, but lots of preferences. He then lost out in 2010 to the DLP's John Madigan, who won just 2.3 per cent of the vote.
That could be matched this time by Baulkham Hills company director Ray Brown, who heads the Building Australia Party ticket. His party will get eight second or third preferences from other parties, and is in the top 10 on no fewer than 27 of the 42 preference tickets submitted. looks like the Senate ballot will be interesting this year.
Few voters will fill in the 110 boxes required to allocate their own preferences, so party tickets will decide almost all preferences from the state's 4.8 million voters. I admit it does get a bit tedious especially with those lesser known parties and independents.
Some of them show surprising preferences. The No Carbon Tax Climate Sceptics will allocate preferences to the party which introduced the carbon tax (Labor) ahead of the one that plans to abolish it (the Coalition). The Shooters and Fishers and the DLP will also give preferences to Labor ahead of the Coalition.![]()

Conversely, the Republican Party is directing its ultimate preferences to staunch monarchist Tony Abbott, while the Protectionist Party will give its preferences to the Liberals' Arthur Sinodinos, who is more of a free trader.![]()

The Palmer United Party, Katter's Australian Party, the Carers Alliance and Christian Democrats have allocated preferences to the Coalition while Ms Hanson is splitting her preferences between the Liberals and Labor.

Roach, would I be right in saying Pauline was dogged by those she trusted and who master-minded ON?
Pauline always struck me as an innocent, someone who trusted perhaps the wrong people, trusted those who may have had an agenda of their own who purposefully set about creating a bad image for ON.
I feel as though those closest to her betrayed her.
The recent and very young ON candidate gaffe is another example of someone in there setting this party up to fall.
Who pre-selected Stephanie Banister to run as a ON candidate to begin with?
Either way it goes, the political philosophy behind ON (according to Pauline) is lost due to those who continue dogging the party for their own agenda.
Admittedly, ON had some ripper policies...but again, these policies now carry the stigma of being ON policies, so are ridiculed.
..... A tale of two Davids.
David Oldfield a self described nationalist-socialist is a wet-liberal on steroids.
He is believed to have masterminded ON...but I have other ideas, and think one other wet Liberal may have planted the idea and financially backed ON also.
It's curious that now shock-jock Oldfield should interview Turnbull on his radio program....where Malcolm seemingly always comes out a winner.
From one treacherous wet-Liberal to another... neither like Abbott, both have betrayed him...and both are self confessed socialists.
They used Pauline, simple as that.
She ignorantly played the red-neck stereotype they needed to undermine dry Liberals.
And I wonder if Malcolm Turnbull extended David Ettridge some free legal advise re- taking on Abbott also?

Pauline has since rejoined the party, hopefully this time minus a few wreckers.
She was naive when she first formed ON...but I dare say she's learned a thing or two since.

She didn't form One Nation...
However, regardless of priority...

However, regardless of priority...
They do seem more in touch with the concerns of everyday Australians. Many of us know there are serious problems in our country…..
1. Loss of jobs, business, industry and manufacturing closing down.
2. Immigration and Multiculturalism - have we ever been asked?
3. Foreign Investment, how much of Australia do we really own?
4. Farming sector collapsing due to imports and regulations.
5. Political Correctness.
6. Carbon Tax.
7. Illegal boat people, our border protection and national security.
8. The cost of living.

Re: One Nation - the state of play...
As I suspected, the QLD ON branch has been infiltrated by plants... Such as Rodney Andrew Evans and James Savage.
Mr Evans wants ON to fail...has made it his business to ensure the quality of it's candidates and party publications retain the red-neck image currently dogging both Pauline and ON at large.
Take a look at this...
http://www.onenationwa.asn.au/<-----What ONWA have to say about their own ON party registrar Rodney Evans, and how they believe he's a plant.
Then take a look at the anti-Jewish article he took responsibility for also.
Since when was a simple apology good enough for our Jewish community?
...
http://www.ecaj.org.au/2006/one-nations ... -unlawful/
Was Jim Savage who endorsed Stephanie Banister by any chance?
It seems, the ON QLD mob have been infiltrated by the enemy.
Ian Nelson and Michael Lenz are two more I plan to take a closer look at also.
In short....
It seems Pauline has been betrayed yet again by those closest to her.
Should be interesting to see who ON QLD preference.... i'll bet it's Labor.
Evans, Katter and Palmer = Three red stooges.

Ian Nelson...the One Nation candidate who courted controversy, when he complained that Indians own most convenience stores.
Then .....
Labor member for Ashgrove Kate Jones wasted no time taking to Twitter to ask Liberal National Party leader Campbell Newman whether he was still considering a preference deal with the One Nation party.
The QLD branch needs fumigating.
Need more proof Roach?
