That's a demented Greenie lie.
You obviously haven't been keeping up with the news. Why would you if hunting doesn't bother you. Of course the Greens aren't advocates of hunting, as are most of the NSW population. The amateur hunters are a minority, but are being given a privilege over the majority.
Outdoor operators fear ramifications of hunting program - Mountain Sports and National Parks Association of NSW
Illegal hunting in Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area
Giddy Up! - Hunting on horseback in national parks
NSW Government committed to shooters, not conservation
Hunting issue to be debated in the ‘People's Parliament'
Professional pest control programs vital for nature conservation
A week of hunting crime
Poll reveals majority oppose hunting in national parks
No science to support recreational hunting

It is a bit dangerous here, but insects and snakes are basically the main offenders. I sometimes watch that show - "I shouldn't be alive" and the number of grisly bear and mountain lion attacks in the US is alarming yet so many people still go into the bush unarmed only to end up with body parts ripped or bitten off.
There is nothing dangerous in Australia if you take precautions and give creatures a bit of space. The only danger is the Greens and their idiotic idea that every single asylum seeker should be given immediate OK to settle in Sydney. You're OK, Jack and so am I, as we do NOT live in Sydney ... but imagine if you can 10-15 years down the track when Muslims become the main religion in Australia. Is that what you want for this great country? Think outside the box, mantra. Think of your children and grandchildren.
Obviously I don't agree with all of the Greens' policies - some of them aren't viable, but those policies that do appeal are better than anything either of the major parties have to offer.

Yes - I agree you do have to give creatures a little space. Most of us have managed to get through life without being bitten by a spider or a snake.

Thought bubbles leading up to a Federal Election. Pollies will say anything, ANYTHING, to get attention and to keep their noses in the tough.

I vote Liberal because they work like I do. Live within my means, save money for a rainy day and only use the credit card for items over $1000 that you pay off immediately.

You have to watch out for the drop bears though. :rofl

Most responsible people do exactly the same, but you can still vote for the Greens and be financially responsible. I bet there are plenty of people who vote Liberal, but don't think about the financial consequences of tomorrow.

Stopping cruelty to animals and the destruction of environment are important issues to me and the Greens have a wide range of policies to cover both.

Their aim is to minimise animal cruelty, protect native wildlife, end live export and abolish animal testing. For the environment they are about the only party with the courage to stand up to the powerful mining lobby - alongside Alan Jones who incidentally is a RW.

Yes - I've gathered from your posts that you are a very compassionate person . I wouldn't think of preaching to someone whose views are set like concrete. It was just a simple post giving my personal view.

The Shooters Party holds the balance of power here and in exchange for approving dodgy legislation anything that moves in the bush is a target. Amateur hunting is welcome and it will not be regulated.

The Shooters Party now wants children to participate in this killing spree. Even duck hunting is being resumed after being banned for so many years. I'm surprised there are no radical group of hunters in Qld who aren't assisting Newman in getting his reforms passed for a favour. Perhaps they'll get in at the next state election?
Now that is what I call progress!! A 303 for every child!! Lets start advocating for this in all states. magnificent
