Good idea. Russia should sort it.Rorschach wrote:President Of The United States... POTUS
Hmmm..
We should give all the mad mullahs a wide berth and let them kill each other off.
Re the UN, since Russia are such good buds of Syria we should just say, hey buddy, they are your mates. get in there and fix it.
After all the smoke has cleared we can help clean up what's left...
I really do hate the Sheriff of the world mentality and feel sorry for the US people with governments that think they have to fill that role.
Help your friends... leave the other buggers to sort themselves out.
The UN is crazy......... Syria

Now for something completely taboo.
When the US is involved in the Middle East I always think "what is Israel's position and who is pulling the strings".

There is no love lost here. Could this influence US policy.... ...... say it's not so.Israel–Syria relations refers to diplomatic and economic relations between Israel and Syria. Diplomatic ties have not been established since the creation of both countries in the mid-20th century and the countries have fought three major wars - 1948, 1967, 1973, later also being both involved in the Lebanese Civil War.

Put a huge wall around the Middle East and let them loose on each other. If they want to kill each other, let them. We can help clean up once they have annihilated each other. Maybe!

I am sure I am not the ONLY person here who would be called anti-jewish. Not the other word as I don't "hate" them or anybody. However, I think the Jews have a lot more influence in World politics than should be accepted.
I lived in Melbourne (Brighton) many years ago and that suburb is full of Jews. Many were my personal friends but ...... cross them ... geeze.

Exactly. Syria is looking like a very dangerous place for world security. Now Russia is getting involved. Russia, Turkey, the US, UK and France should just get together and work out carefully how they intend to handle this. It has the potential to become a major war.Super Nova wrote:Now for something completely taboo.

There are a lot of strings being pulled:

‘Israel behind Egypt coup’ – Turkish PM:

It's getting very messy. I don't think I'll post any more on this subject. I'll just leave it with this remark - Don't underestimate the political power of Big Oil.
(By the way, I'm a bloke)

Put it this way, the Oil companies and other interests own the CIA, and the CIA pulls the strings in Saudi.

I do believe there are deals done in smoky back rooms involving organisations that seek to manipulate to their personal benefit or the benefit of US, big companies and others. I shudder when I hear the term " to protect our interests" == Fuck the world... we are here to look after ourselves.
