Bit further up, I finally found the kookaburra doing the 'laughing' in a slightly weird tree:

This is Goolwa at the end of the 'mighty' Murray and the bridge is the bridge to Hindmarsh Island:



When the bridge was built the water level was as indicated by the "1" then when I saw it about a year ago the level was at "2" and last time I looked it was at "3"

That is a pretty big drop in river level! That 'beach' you see on the far side of the river didn't use to be there!

This is Demi with my two great nephews (of my oldest niece):


Demi looks disreputable, but unless clipped really back she always looks untidy now matter how many times you brush her!

This tree was shot from bottom of Torrens river bed, really shone with morning sun shining on the top of it:

she looks so scared and who could blame her..she could never be Indiana Joneses' dog. Poor little Demi..as long as she doesnt have to face that bridge again...
