I used to think ok, The Project is blatantly pro-Labor but it's just one program. Then they started The Bolt Report obviously skewed to Bolt's bias. Well that evens it up.

But having spent more time watching their news, suddenly they've ramped up the political bias. It is more blatant than ever and The Project is almost impossible to watch due to its progressive left, kiddy bias... that confuses news with entertainment. Now they have yet another show with Comedians taking the piss... and we all know which side of politics will be the butt of most of the jokes.

Rorschach. I haven't watched commercial TV in years. I have Foxtel and pay $120 a month. Since I am in Canberra, the only "commercial" TV I can get via Foxtel is ABC and SBS. So ... I haven't seen Channel 7,9, 10 for years. Never heard of The Project. Doubt I would be interested anyhow.

I prefer the Foxtel ... History, Crime, UK and 13th Street Channels. Plenty more to see and record too if you want.

One thing that has ALWAYS been blatantly obvious is that LEFTARDS expect something for nothing and they think nothing of ripping people off to get it. Including telling outrageous LIES. Nobody in their right mind would trust a Leftard.

I was taught to go for want I wanted but make sure that I did so within the Law. I have always done do.

PM: One, I support marriage equality and the reason I do has been well canvassed in the national debate and why I changed my position. Number two, I believe this is just a mark of decency to same sex couples across the country who wish the same loving, caring relationship that for example I've had with Therese, my wife now, for the last 32 years, and for that to be formalised. Number three is, my commitment is within the first 100 days of a re-elected Government a bill would come forth to legalise marriage equality, we would, of course on our side of politics, allow a full conscience vote and I would just appeal to Mr Abbott to do the same, because folk out there want this to happen.

Gay marriage turns off tradies: expert

KEVIN Rudd's support for gay marriage is annoying tradies in the outer suburbs, with the issue more likely to play badly in areas with higher unemployment, a social researcher says.

About one in 12 voters, or 1.7 million people, live in a marginal seat held by less than two per cent.

Of those 18 electorates, 14 are in the middle and outer suburbs of a state capital.

Sydney's west, Melbourne's east and outer Brisbane are the key battlegrounds, where dual-income mum-and-dad couples are more concerned about paying off a mortgage than matrimonial equality.

Social researcher Mark McCrindle says tradies in high unemployment areas are more likely to see this issue as a distraction, which could hurt Labor in a seat like Forde, south of Brisbane, where former Queensland premier Peter Beattie is running.

"It symbolises all that they don't like about the government - that is, distracted into symbolism and not governing on the issues that make a difference to them," he told AAP.

Voters would also be annoyed in the tradie-mortgage belt seat of Lindsay, in Sydney's west, and in Greenway near the Bible belt where more people are becoming professionals.

But gay marriage is likely to be well-received in seats like Deakin in Melbourne, Moreton in Brisbane's south and the nearby electorate of Brisbane, and Darwin-based Solomon, where there are higher than average levels of university education.

"As the education rises, issues like gay marriage actually get more support than less," Mr McCrindle said. Why?

Australia's 33,714 same sex couples made up just 0.7 per cent of people in relationships in the 2011 Census. Not all of them want to be married either.

So while the prime minister's pledge on marriage equality could be described as an "edgy call", another demographer Bernard Salt says it could also signal a change of heart among middle suburbia. Let's have a referendum then. a handful of pollies do not have the right to decide this.

"Rudd must have calibrated that middle Australia has got across the line on this one," he told AAP.

"At face value, it might look like 'I am running counter to the values of conservative, middle suburban Australia' but his judgement is that, 'I think they're moving, that they are ready to accept this'."

Religious people are more likely to live farther away from a major city centre but this may not be an issue.

"Just because people say they believe in God doesn't necessarily mean that they are also adherents of religious dogma with regard to attitudes to gay marriage," Dr Salt said.

Channel 10 News last night was almost a paid ad for the Labor Party and it seems to me 10 are running more of the Labor attack ads than any other station. Whoever is writing the scripts for the 10 Newsreaders should be sacked for blatant political bias.
