The Rudd -vrs-Abbott Debate

I didn’t see the debate. Apparently Rudd referred to notes more than Piss&Moan but then Rudd used these mysterious things called facts:

The debate was on all networks in prime time. A lot of people watched it.

I’d say the worm’s reaction on Ch 9 was a fairer reaction than Laurie Oakes opinion. The MSM saying Abbott won the debate is irrefutable proof that their opinion is worthless, paid for by the proprietors.

The worm had it clearly for Rudd. And no wonder.The body language of Abbott was that of a man with little confidence. The pointing finger in his opening was excruciating. His staccato closure was slow-motion torture to watch.

Promising to bring on gay marriage to the Parliament within 100 days was a masterstroke, and should pay dividends with younger voters. . . .

I’m also hoping Abbott swallows the MSM’s fake scoring and signs on for 2 more debates. If he does he’s a bigger dill than I thought he was.

The Debate rules state NO NOTES ... they can have a pen and paper but referring to notes is CHEATING. Krudd is a bloody cheat.

Rudd complains that 70% of our press is biased ...(Claims Murdoch owns it and is against his NBN) yet here we have 3/4 of our TV stations being clearly biased and in Rudds favour themselves.

Krudd was referring to his NOTES in both the opening and closing addresses. How can he have "made notes" of points Tony Abbott made when Krudd OPENED the Debate? Come on. He is a liar and a cheat.

Honestly you have to really doubt the integrity of most of these results and the usefulness of these debates if those are the "real" results.

Clearly & had Abbott ahead by miles and most of the commentators even those not particularly pro-Coalition had him ahead.
