Gotta love the way Kevvy led off his closing speech with the need to move on from negative politics then proceeded to try and diss Abbott as many times as he could in 30 seconds

Nasty little germ!

Abbott deservedly won by a mile.

I liked it best when Rudd nervously rambled on, speaking out of turn, whereby the moderator and audience started to laugh at him, even Abbott had a chuckle.

Not so smug now eh Rudd?

When Rudd shook Abbott's hand at the end he pulled Abbott's arm close to his body and didn't seem to want to let it go. Almost a Latham move. More subtle than Latham but aggressive nonetheless.

My daughter summed Rudd up when halfway through the debate she exclaimed, " He's just like Professor Gilderoy Lockhart from Harry Potter."

I laughed, because she's absolutely right.

I like that mel...

NOT SO SMUG NOW EH RUDD...

Tony looked good and presented his arguments well no notes.
Kevin was a bit of a mess even with notes, good to see the audience noticing his lies and good on Tony for pointing out most of them. regardless Rudd kept trying to push his lies about Abbott and the Coalition. maybe he might have learned a lesson.

The worm on 9 was pro Rudd, the worm on 7 was pro Abbott the twits on 10 were only interested in the NBN and were pro Rudd.

Some of the commentators were decidedly biased more mel on 7 than "Riles" give me a break mel.
The mod in the debate started off badly by being biased by his actions and opening questions but eventually got back on a more even keel.
The spin doctors on 24 are trying to make the best of a bad Rudd performance.
Channel 9 host is presenting a pro ALP agenda since the worm was so biased I'm guessing it was a forgone conclusion, they are making a point yet again of Abbott unpopularity proven apparently by the worm yet not by the channel 7 worm.

So I guess I've got station surf and get the other results.

I think 7 has it 72 Abbott to 28 Rudd...

Tony Abbott absolutely thrashed Krudd. Very Prime Ministerial, whereas Krudd was waffling on, lying and trying the usual AbbottAbbottAbbott.

The rules were NO NOTES and Krudd kept referring to his, he is a CHEAT. Tony followed the rules and spoke minus notes.

Tony did very well. I was impressed, after running the 14k City2Surf in Sydney in the morning, he had to fly to Canberra in the afternoon and he was well prepared and sounded good.

Krudd's visit to pray in Church at Reid didn't help him at all. He is actually looking tired and worn out, wonder if he will last the next 4 weeks of campaigning. He is certainly out of condition!
